Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. II

It was just a game misconduct. I don't know if the league still looks at things.

After a 7-game suspension, I wouldn't be surprised. Knowing our league though, I really hope the B.R.O. plays more than 3 games in a year when he gets to RPI.

FD: I have some concerns in that direction also but I am sure SA will make whatever accommodations are necessary. I expect that Luke will make a big impact at RPI and in the ECAC. Will he be a target? YES. Will he be a big asset? Absolutely.

I can already hear the faint sound of whining coming from a town in central NY.....

Ralph - FYI Pointstreak has the BRO as 8-1-5-6 ...he's credited with an asst. in 7-3 loss to C.R.

I remember a video of the Dubuque/Des Moines line brawl being posted here a few weeks ago but I dont recall seeing a full game highlight video posted. At the 2:24 mark of the clip it shows the BRO's first ever USHL goal, not sure if the crowd is booing him or the DBQ fans there are saying "Luke" :D

RD18: of all the posters on the thread, you never cease to amaze me...you come up with new and different information and sources all the time. Thanks for posting that.:)

Re: RPI 2011 Recruit Thread Pt. II

The Saints front office signed a "hammer" forward to help the BRO protect the studs in DBQ's lineup...Joe Bueltel 6'2 200 late of the Wisconsin Wilderness of the Superior International Hockey League (don't forget your mouthpieces boys...)

Saints AC Coombs: "...Some guys have been taking liberties with some of our skill players, and he will address that aspect."

Bueltel: ..."I like to work the puck down low and hit a lot. And, if I need to get the team going or I need to protect one of my teammates, I'll drop the gloves."
