<s>On Friday, the Des Moines Buccaneers defeated the Chicago Steel 1-0 in their final preseason game. Jason Kasdorf saved 26 of 26 shots. (The SOGs don't balance correctly.) He played the whole game. :) http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=1693599

Kasdorf's preseason line is now 6-2-2-0-.939-1.99.</s>

If he saves 28 out of 26 shots then he will have a save percentage over 1

That is certainly true, but I don't see how it is relevant. My comment was referring to the fact that at least at the moment the shots and saves on the top of the page and the bottom aren't the same. Also, on the top of the page the total for one team is sum of the the three periods for the other team and vice versa. I assume that they will fix it, and anyway, it's just a preseason game.

Unless it's part of the inter-sports movement, they're bringing in soccer rules and counting shots that hit the post...

Re: RPI 2011 - 12 Recruit Thread

Omaha does not make a trip out to Youngstown this year, so no chance to see Miller unless you'd like to go further west. :(

Re: RPI 2011 - 12 Recruit Thread

Keep shooting my man....My hope is there won't be enough pucks on the ice for both Him & JL......Think 2 Chase Polacek's...Im starting to get all giddy...Doc pass me a pill !

I am very hopeful that this year we may not need much medication while we follow the RPI games. It just appears to me we have a better defensive group than last year with a bit of experience and certainly some size. And I fully expect we will have an effective if at least not an exciting offense. I suspect thia year Jenny and I may just be rather mellow by the time the third periods begin to wind down. I enjoy an exciting close game as much as the next fellow-but darn I do not relish nail biters every weekend.:)
