In the café or on other threads. I guess that's what happens when you don't shoot the **** on a thread. ;)

I thought that all of you (besides for DrD and me) were in church praying for the offense. :D

Where is everyone today?

Spending money I don't have, making music, and playing NHL '12 on Xbox 360 wishing that they also had NCAA teams in it ;) also playing Forza Motorsport, etc. etc. in other words, taking a break from the world of hockey for the most part... and from thinking about RPI's offensive woes.

Now I'm here procrastinating sleeping before work :p

It's common knowledge that a good number of teams in the ECAC play the trap. We play in the ECAC. Why shouldn't it be legit?
I could be wrong here...but I think ibanezist00 was subtly referring to the fact that he lightly mentioned som3thing hockey related and it actually REMAINED hockey related (instead of going off on the tangents we so easily go on...).

Last post tonight....Northeastern beat Providehttp://board.uscho.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=5270758nce 5-2 boy there defense must SUCK !....(you know who you are)

TB......there is supposedly a bright spot on Providence. I hear that Miles Harvey (Dman) is an undrafted late bloomer with a bomb of a shot and quite a bit of buzz building on the free agency market...

That would be correct, and that is exactly why I was surprised :) on that whole trap/1-3-1 issue though, a recent tweet from a Harvard team member I think says it all, including my own opinion about it:

Ryan Grimshaw (Harvard) - @TheBearShirt
November 9 - Really hope no ECAC coaches are watching this lightning flyers game. Could be a boring season. #trap #chessgame

Long time follower, long time supporter, short time reader, first time poster.

What the heck is going on at Rensselaer ? This team has to be better than their record and I look forward to watching it play out. The spoiler role can and will be fun!:D

Welcome on board!

At this point, I am still hoping for more than a spoiler role, but we could be like Colgate in the playoffs.

What is wrong, obviously, is a lack of goal scoring. In my opinion, the problem is that SA is relying on his upperclassmen, as he has been saying, but they weren't really go-to guys in Juniors and their is no reason to think that they would be at this level. While it makes some sense not to put a lot of pressure on freshmen, they are the ones with a history of goal scoring. The other problem has been all of the injuries early in the year.

With 18 conference games left they could be more than spoilers. Remember, that is why they play the games. What in the heck happened in the Harvard/Colgate game? Some pretty strong charges being thrown at the Raiders
