RPI 2010 Recruit Thread: Give Me Laliberté or Give Me Death!

Aurora played its first exhibition game on Friday, so it seems like a good time to start a new thread. I only got one other suggestion for a thread title plus RC's comment that this one was corny.

Re: RPI 2010 Recruit Thread: Give Me Laliberté or Give Me Death!

The boxscore isn't up yet, but a video of Aurora's 4-2 victory over Vaughan is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SH7.../auroratigers/video-6&feature=player_embedded. Aurora is in white. As it says in the beginning of the video, the names are not correct on the jerseys, so I don't know which player is Nick Quinn.

Edit: It is possible that Quinn did not play since on Saturday he will be at the Team Canada East tryout for the OJHL.

All I was referring to was the title. :)

Very disappointed. Not to mention that the title is almost worse.

Weird title, Patrick Baer Henry.

But somewhat fitting, seeing as how he's still undecided.

That was the reason that I made the title. I suspect that we will be hearing rumors about him for the next year.

I agreed with RC that the vanilla title that I had been using was getting old. I would gladly have accepted a better suggestion. I didn't think that "The Mighty Quinn," which was the only other suggestion that I received, was better.

Thanks for nothing, Ralph!

Again, the complete boxscore isn't up, but Aurora won their exhibition game on Saturday over the Stouffville Spirit 6-3. Video with Aurora in white: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JgC.../auroratigers/video-6&feature=player_embedded. Undoubtedly Nick Quinn was in Richmond Hill trying out for Team Canada East.

... I would gladly have accepted a better suggestion...

He excels at criticizing, but lacking the necessary initiative to name the thread himself...I have a few co-workers he should meet!

Aurora's third exhibition game, again vs. the Stouffville Spirit (6-3 again). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMLH.../auroratigers/video-6&feature=player_embedded. Nick Quinn may have been back, but only Wicked knows which number he was using. :)

Well if he appeared in that clip, than I don't have the right number..I thought he was 21?

He might not be there either. I read on a message board that Aurora will be using last year's jerseys throughout the exhibition season, so unless they start posting boxscores, we might not know until the regular season starts.

Edit: I posted a question asking about Quinn http://www.network54.com/Forum/2435...nday+Night+Highlights+-+Stouffville+at+Aurora

Re: RPI 2010 Recruit Thread: Give Me Laliberté or Give Me Death!

Jacob Laliberte is indeed mentioned in this article as attending the Cornwall Colts' training camp. :)
Following the second day of camp on Monday, MacInnis singled out the Spink twins, Eric Ming, Jacob Laliberte and Chris Mason -- the defenceman who was recently acquired from Pembroke for future considerations -- as some of the players who've left an impression at camp.

I got a response that someone thought he was number 6. He added that Quinn left the game early with a hitting from behind penalty. Looking at the video, that all makes sense.

With Uryadov graduating, we need someone to get the HfB penalties.

Did Burgdoerfer leave too?
