There is a "Reply With Quote" link below each message. Click the link below the message which you want to quote. The appropriate material will be entered in the reply window.

If you only want to include part of the mesage, it can be edited, but be sure to leave in the tags at the beginning and end.

If you want to quote more than one message, it is more complicated. In sequence, use the "+ link which is to the right of the Reply With Quote link for all but one of the posts that you want to quote and then the Reply With Quote for the last post.

FYI - NU faithful reporting that Jr. (F) Tuckerman and one of the Daniels' brothers are injured and will not play.

I'll take any help we can get

With the team winning or the Pick to Click? :D

As much as I want our team to win every game, I hate to see an injury. Even if it's against Clarkson and a really good hit that causes other activity. All the best to their recovery, and all the best for us in tonight's game, hoping we can grab our first victory of the season.

Re: RPI 2010-11: Houston, We've had a Facelift!

I don't want anyone injured-ever-but if it has to happen, I would rather it be to an opponent than us. This is going to be a real tough one tonight and any edge we can get would be nice.

Re: RPI 2010-11: Houston, We've had a Facelift!

I don't think the loss of either kid will kill them tonight, but Tuckerman is one of the guys NE was hoping would step his offensive production. He is one of their high energy, high penalty mins. (66PIM ) guys...who has a tendency to score big goals.

Re: RPI 2010-11: Houston, We've had a Facelift!

Good game. Great atmosphere. Beautiful arena.

The Engineers had another couple bone-headed mistakes (too many men on the PP?! REALLY!?) but none of them turned straight into goals. The refs were definitely a little whistle-happy, except when they decided to not call anything for 10 minutes in the third.

NU's power play was pretty sad. I'm hoping to attribute that to some great penalty killing, but I've heard that that isn't entirely the case. Overall, I want to see more from the team, but it's pretty clear Appert was experimenting today. Putting Koudys and Leboeuf on the same pairing for a number of shifts... Bailen, Bergin, and Polacek all quarterbacking the PP... Coach wants to see what the team can do.

And, one last request... this one goes out to the refs... DON'T CALL ONE TEAM FOR KEEPING THE VERY (and I mean, seriously, it was the very) EDGE OF HIS SKATE ON THE CREASE (not even in it) WITHOUT CALLING IT BOTH WAYS!!

Thank you. Love, burgie12

Overall, I love the effort given by the team, and I'm looking forward to seeing them back in Troy for their home opener.
