After they ran Teslak and re-injured him, and Stewart took that hilariously pathetic swan dive.
Then the following night in Houghton, trotted out that dusty old Ramada Trophy that wasn't even up for grabs and celebrated with it like they won a national championship.![]()
There was a sure fire way to prevent that from happening.

Only at Tech do they lose 7-3 and blame the refs.Tech really needs to focus and get these wins, or else it's going to be difficult to have much confidence traveling to Yost. Tech will try to use their speed to frustrate NMU and draw penalties, so we need to get that powerplay going. Officiating should at least be more even, as that was a total hack job by that HEA crew on Sunday at Notre Dame.

No TV6 broadcast for this weekends games according to ESPN Radio in Marquette.
When the game is 2-2 after taking a questionable 5-min major, then you get called for another questionable 5-min major and allow 2 goals on it, at which point you're playing with 13 forwards...yeah I think I can blame the refs to a point. They completely dictated that game and it was impossible to know what was and was not a penalty.Only at Tech do they lose 7-3 and blame the refs.

If you had actually been at or watched the game, you may have something of substance to add to the discussion. Since it's a fact that you weren't there and didn't see it, I'm just going to ignore that obvious troll.
I've just never heard a 7-3 loss blamed on the refs. There's always a first I guess.
So you're admitting that you don't have anything of substance to add to the conversation?
Just a heads up that TV6 will not be carrying the home and home NMU/Tech hockey series this weekend. Here's our official press release on the matter:
WLUC is continuing to work with Northern Michigan University and Michigan Tech to provide College Hockey to viewers in the U.P. Hopes were high in October that WLUC would be able to televise the upcoming home and home series between Northern and Michigan Tech, however, according to Forrest Karr, Director of Athletics at NMU, “The University needs more time to work through issues related to broadband production and corporate sponsorship agreements”.
Once those issues are resolved, WLUC plans to work closely with NMU and MTU to schedule and televise upcoming games for the foreseeable future. WLUC President and CEO, Rob Jamros, commented, “We appreciate the complicated nature of this issue, and the efforts of the Northern Michigan University and Michigan Tech administrations to work through them. We also look forward to the opportunity to provide excellent local programming, like college hockey, to our viewers.” Kim Parker-WLUC Marketing Director
Per the WLUC TV6 Facebook page:
So it's NMU's fault...got it!
What's stopping the Saturday game from being aired?
I do agree though that it does sound like it's NMU's fault. It's really a shame that those in control of the University continue to harm the growth of the school, while claiming to help.
