Good period from the 'Gate. Not too many offensive chances for the Colonials, the defense cut off shooting lanes and didn't allow RMU much room in the offensive zone. The offense generated a few nice chances, great to see them bury two. That 2nd goal in particular could be huge. Great kill on the 5x3, including a pair of breakaways for the Raiders. On the 2nd one, the RMU defender chasing McIntyre slipped and hit the endboards awkwardly. He skated off on his own, but did not look comfortable Didn't see who it was, hopefully the guy is alright. Not thrilled with the PP, but what else is new. Keep up the pressure Colgate

Colgate puts the pressure on RMU, but it appears to be matching minors. Lyle for RMU, Roughing, McIntyre for Colgate, Roughing

Another solid period from Colgate. Lots of pressure in the offensive zone, not necessarily in the form of shots, but constant puck possession, not letting the Colonials clear the zone. That's the kind of pressure that generated the 2nd goal. The biggest weakness of the period was the sloppy penalties. Gotta cut down on those. If the Raiders keep up the effort, RMU isn't coming back without help. 20 more minutes of good effort
