Robert Morris at Colgate - Friday 1/22/10

Re: Robert Morris at Colgate - Friday 1/22/10

Williams took a tumble behind the Colgate net. He's skating off under his own power, but certainly not 100% at the moment

3-1 Colgate

Re: Robert Morris at Colgate - Friday 1/22/10

RMU crashes the net hard on a 3x2 break, the puck might be in but the net gets knocked off. It's called No Goal on the ice

Play under review.....NO GOAL, call stands

3-1 Colgate

Re: Robert Morris at Colgate - Friday 1/22/10

RMU takes their TimeOut, trying to figure out how to get the pressure back on Evin late in the game. Ostergard headed to the bench right before the TO, expect the Colonial net to remain empty

3-1 Colgate

LOL...my feed is 20 sec behind the play :-)
Sounded like a consistent effort - would like to convert on the pp
Colonials will be ready again tomorrow night, hope we are, too
How was the attendance?
RMU a very respectable team.
Congrats, 'Gate!

Re: Robert Morris at Colgate - Friday 1/22/10

Okay, so not quite a full 60 minutes. RMU got some real pressure, really carried the play for several minutes, and Colgate is a bit lucky they weren't able to convert and pull within 1. Luckily, that dissipated after the no goal call. Otherwise, solid effort from the Raiders. Defense played strong for most of the night, kept the Colonials from too many offensive chances. Evin played a solid game in net, good to see. Now we've got a little streak going, let's keep it up for the sweep tomorrow night
