My 2 cents, it's great that Garbowski, and his leadership, is back on the ice, but the presence of Adam Mitchell in front of the net is something that has been sorely missed. Nobody else seemed to fill that role in his absence. That line of AMitchell/Smith/Thompson was fun to watch. It bodes good things this weekend.

Re: >>>>> RIT TIGERS - Final Game at Ritter/Playoffs <<<<<

Forgive me for putting up another loose connection to the RIT Men's Hockey team, but only a league run by Bob DeGregorio could have a goaltender of the year award winner who did not make either the first or second all star team. Anyone else see that? What a joke!

Apparently GOTY is a statistical award, but surely she should have at least made second team. It's pretty bad when the third-place team in the league only has one player in the supposed top twelve.

Great win for the TIGERS last night!

DO NOT FORGET TO CONGRATULATE RIT WOMEN!

Re: >>>>> RIT TIGERS - Final Game at Ritter/Playoffs <<<<<

That was a good effort. Rotolo made some HUGE saves to keep RIT in the game, which is something that has been missing most of the year. It's clearly a differant team than what we have seen a lot of the year. Hopefully they can finish off the Crusaders tonight and not have to worry about a deciding 3rd game where anything can happen.

Going to be a tough game tonight. Apparently the team came up with stomach bugs last night. Good thing this is a best of 3. Hope the team can hang on.

Only 2 defensive parings in tonight...Noyes, Raibl, Fostvelt, and Holland...The rest stayed at the hotel

Appears that the bug is taking it's toll early. Would it be a smart move to forfeit and save strength for game 3?

Sure would suck to have the season end to this...hopefully they recover quickly for tomorrow's game.

Raise your hand if you've seen this before. March 1995, D3 ECAC West championship game is moved from Saturday night to Sunday because 10-15 RIT players are sick at hotel, including Coach Hoffberg if I remember correctly. RIT gets blown out 9-2 on Sunday in the rescheduled game.

Unreal that it has happened again this weekend.

Mercyhurst is afraid of the Tigers AGAIN :)

Lot of hanging heads like they wanted to puke on the ice in the third period. Hopefully they are over it by tomorrow.

Just not fair. Stomach bug is the worst. It zaps all your energy you need and takes a good 3-4 days to fully recover... Lucky Holy Cross team let me tell you.

Just curious, but where'd you get the info on the stomach bug thing? It's really horribly bad timing if true, we finally just go to full strength, injury-wise. Let's hope for a quick recovery!

And shoutout to the woman's team for a stunning win today!!

Holy Cross spent a lot of time on the ice close up with all those sick players. Who is to say that they don't come down with the bug tonight too.

They interviewed the hotel doctor, Dr. Leo Spaceman.
He said it's quite common for their guest to get this and or deported.

How many key players sat last nights game?
