Yep, 2 - 1. Down 1-0 in the 3rd. Tie it up then the wheels came off. Out shot 17-4 in the 3rd, tells it all.

At least we lost to the last place team in the regular season as opposed to the playoffs.

The good news is this team was picked to finish 7th and they finished 5th. And finishing 5th has been good to teams in the playoffs.

Not sure what venue or what times. Webster Bank Arena has a comedian in concert at 5 pm on Saturday and an AHL game on Sunday at 5 pm.

Going to Sacred Heart in two weeks. You guys beat me to it. Well we split there as opposed to being swept at home by SHU. So if the Tigers are more ornery and more focused be being on the road then maybe that’s better except for the fans who attend the Tiger games at GPC.

Regardless of what happens for the rest of this season, the next time SHU comes to Henrietta I think there should be some prescheduled sweet 16 birthday parties as well as a Monroe County 8 and under figure skating championship so that atlantic hockey has to play the games at 8:30am on Friday morning and at 10pm on Saturday night.

Thats really a bad sign when you lose to the last place team who has nothing to play for and you are playing for a bye AND home ice. If you can’t get up for that then I don’t know...
On another note, #15 on Canisius had a little meltdown after he got thrown out, went bezerk in the locker room, swearing, screamng kicked a hole in a metal door with his skate, the kids getting ready to play between periods witnessed all of it. They had to bring an officer down. What little ****bag he is.

He and Cameron got somewhat bizarre matching face-masking misconducts after a scrum in front of the net that started when another Canisius player (McLaughlin?) snowed Drackett.

Anyway, extremely disappointing reaction to finally tying the game. They flat out got their butts kicked after that point.

Well I feel the optimism just blow out the window with this week's two games. Middle of the pack and last place team. Both games came down to win the third period to get vital points and got nothing. Honestly dang lucky to get a bye. My only hope is Gabe gets back a provides a much missing spark.

I get accused of over protecting Wayne, but I have to disagree with his post game a bit. I thought the first and second periods both were slow starts and basically both periods the first line help slowly pull a territorial advantage but not enough to get it done. The shot advantage was inflated by the officials stacking penalties and even out when the refs did their make up thing in the third. And RIT missed the net on their best chances. RIT's power play is doomed to fail if their best defensemen miss the net.

4 shots on the third are you kidding me. When they pulled Drackett and was in desperation time they barely manged a shot. Other than top line I think vast majority of the game the rest of the lines just was not good enough. The top line is good but it's not the MGM line, other lines need to produce if they are going to win this thing.

The only other positive thing is this group of seniors won it as the 5th seed when they were freshmen. But someone has to step up, the trend in the final regulation period is incompatible with winning a championship...

You've got playoff home ice in your sights and manage 1 total goal and only 4 shots in the 3rd period of a tied game....

So tickets for the AHA Finals at Harborcenter are available. The Price is $20 at Ticketmaster or $25 at the door. BUT if you buy through Ticketmaster the fees bring the tickets to $24.65... :rolleyes::rolleyes:

So who would you rather not give that $5 too, the AHA or Ticketmaster... This may be a close one...

According to SHU website, all games start at 7:05pm. Probably Webster Bank Arena doesn’t want SHU due to lack of fans. Also they suck. Why don’t they play on pond?

Looks like they are planning 7:05 Friday (2/15) and a 7:05 start as the 2nd game of a double-header with the Sound Tigers (playing at 5:00) on Sunday (2/17). Might not be too bad.

Something is not adding up here. On Saturday the 16th, they have Jeff Dunham (Ed you should go to that, you will relate with Walter, at least I do :D) at 5pm, that's off the Webster Bank Arena Website. There is no way they are playing at 7:05PM Saturday. Owen Sound game is Sunday at 5pm So if they play after it's 9PM puck drop at Best. I wouldn't trust the SHU website...
