And even so, it'd be nice to hear some dissatisfaction with the results, rather than acceptance.

They ended the regular season 5-11-0 at the Pollesini. 5-9-0 in conference. That's horrific. If they played as well at home as they did on the road they would have been knocking on the door of the league title. There's no excuse for playing the way they did at home this season.

Coaches do but you never know how a player is going to perform for you or the team.

As far as dissatisfaction, he's noted that throughout the season but it hasn't really worked. If he's trying to motivate the players, bashing them on the post game may make you feel better but it's not going to motivate the players this late in the season. The players need to get better as a group if they want to continue playing.

You know I remember guys on here getting on Wayne for being to tough on guys in his post game. Wayne has always been pretty open how he feels publicly. Sometimes you need to read between the lines. Obviously some are unable to do that.

Now I'm willing to bet that not many, besides the radio guys have seen more RIT hockey games since 2009 than me. This team has the talent. It's the heads I'm worried about...

I didn't say anything about bashing, but the whole point of the postgame interview is to get some insight into the coach's thinking. If he's thinking "These results aren't acceptable" but saying "I thought we played well", then what's the point of doing the interview?

Just saw on Twitter that RIT SZ and TWC will not be broadcasting this weekend's playoff series. Which means those of us that aren't in Rochester any more will have to settle for Stretch Internet unless someone has another idea?

Burt was a selfish player. Just ask the people on the board when he was playing. ;)

I agree. I'm hoping Powell can be that guy realizing his college career ends when RIT is eliminated. He has the talent.

The games were never on TWC this year. They were on the local CW affiliate.

You never get what the coach is actually thinking in those postgame interviews. You only get what the coach wants you to hear...

From what I understand at this point, it will be scoreboard video with our radio audio via atlantichockey.tv.
