I have a family member who just graduated from Niagara (didn't say I was proud), and after four years there he still says to me things like ... "I don't understand why it's so hard for us to beat RIT, we beat everyone else." Really!

RIT is not dominated by Niagara in every game, RIT can beat Niagara, and the records are not as skewed as many say. I agree ... it sucks, but it is not like RIT has no chance of beating Niagara, that's total BS. And the sample size is still incredibly small.

Looks like the AHA made some policy changes. We're going up to 14 scholarships per team by 2015. This is great for the AHA, but maybe not so great for RIT...

I think RIT has done pretty will without scholarships so far, but this will be a disadvantage for the Tigers. I hope the RIT Financial Aid department is going to look at ways to help RIT hockey (within the rules of course).
I think, even though you're a play-up, you're still subject to the D-III financial aid rules which means the $$ going to the athletes cannot be a greater % than to the rest of the student body.
