Looking at scores only, this team is not as awful as one would think.

Except for game 2 at Michigan and Colgate, the loses would be by 1 goal if you discount the empty netters.

The fact that they beat Michigan (a win's a win) and are scoring to keep it close leads me to believe they'll win more than they'll lose going forward.

ps. I always thought Lerch to be a HC homer anyway! :D

From coach Wilson at today's alumni reception: Maclean to start in net Saturday vs Holy Cross and Bowling Green will play in Brick City Homecoming '15.

Very interesting. I guess coach is thinking along the same lines as a lot of people here are with regards to the goaltending.

This also seems to suggest the Bowling Green rumors in regards to joining the AHA might have legs.

I disagree. Lerch wrote the 4 teams that the AHA has had talks with in terms of joinging, and Bowling Green was not one of them.

I think it's more to get his alma mater in a Homecoming game.

This scares me that Wilson is throwing this kind of a hail mary so early in the season. Have to call it one of a very few questionable he has made in his time here. I think this is something you do if it turns in pure rebuilding year, just my opinion its too early...

Good news it still a game you have a chance to get some points in this game and maybe this will silence the Yippie kay yay crew for a bit...

Can we just say Yippie Kay Yay Mother Hover??

In fairness to Ken its hardly his fault. The real question that needs to be answered is how did RIT get this bad on the blue line this fast...

Tigers down 6-3 to HC in the 3rd. Maclean replaced by Ruby who lets in the 6th goal. Sounds like it was a 3 on 1 breakaway. Really getting ugly. While I hate to say it, I think it can officially be called a rebuilding year.

I guess it has to burn to the ground before you rebuild it....

This is getting towards the feel of a baseball year where your team is out of it before the All Star break and you just want the year to be over...

Finished up 7-3.

Yeah I know what you're saying. Let's just fast-forward through the rest of this. Still it is early and hopefully they can turn things around. Given that everybody in AHA makes the playoffs, all they have to do is get hot in March.

A lot of single player drives in on goal. Defense was lacking tonight and the offense went away after the second period.

On the positive side, I won an RIT car flag at the alumni reception and the roast beef was nice. Thank you Kiersten! They passed around some rink drawings, looks good. 6 million short of goal.

I think (hope) Watson gets the start tomorrow

Good pick up on Bowling Green. The next two Brick City games will be underdog games for RIT, so I was assuming a more evenly-matched opponent was coming next.
