>>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

I believe the AHA awards are tomorrow.

Madolora will win goaltender of the year.

Brenner will be on one of the all AHA teams. Favot probably will be there as well.

Lynch and/or Mitchell should make all rookie.

Any other thoughts on honors for RIT?

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

INCH already did their all-conference team, and Brenner, Saracino (they cited his +23 rating), and Madolora all made it (they only had one team)

I feel Noyes has a shot at all-rookie as well.

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

I disagree. I don't want to antagonize the officials any more than they already do, for fear of them taking it out on the ice..

You mean like the Corner Crew yelss "You Suck" at them when the refs come out in the first period??

As bad as some of the AHA Officials have been I will not question there integrity, just there overal smarts....

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

from that article: Today, however, Adam Hartley will be at center because Favot must serve a one-game suspension as mandatory punishment for his boarding major last weekend.

that answers the lineup question a little bit.

Good interview on INCH with AHA Commissioner Bob DeGregorio: http://insidecollegehockey.com/inch/2011/03/18/aha_0924/

When talking about Penn State, he says "I believe there are at least five teams in our league that have scheduled them for [their first season in 2012-2013]."

Do you guys think RIT is one of them? I wouldn't be surprised.

One of Coach Wilson's philosophies in OOC scheduling is to get as tough competition as possible. It seems like RIT has not had the problems getting games that other teams do. The biggest reason they would schedule them is to pay it forward for all the teams that gave them games in their initial year at DI.

Wouldn't that make for an amazing Brick City game? ;)

Rocky told me he is doing the women's games. I think that's the right move by Lou Spiotti.

Any chance we will be hearing an 'In-Town Scoreboard' announcement at the BCA this weekend to keep us posted on the womens team?

I suppose, but it's still a little disappointing. I'll miss Rocky at BCA.

Also somewhat surprised at Hartley being on first line. I guess Wilson decided Burt's chemistry with his line is irreplaceable

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

I could have sworn I heard the TW Sports crew mention that they were going to be broadcasting the championship game tomorrow, but I don't see it listed on channel 26's listings. Any idea what's up with that? Are the online TV guide's just wrong?

Re: >>> RIT Tigers 2010-11 - Part II - The Dream is Still Alive <<<

I e-mailed TWCS, and found out it will be on Channel 98, not the usual 26/1026.
