No real opportunity for me here, the wheels are coming off. My opportunities lie elsewhere. Just need to decide if I should make the jump. Do I stay with the known or go to the unknown which might be a little riskier - given my age and dependents...

In another way, these losses could make my job easier. If the architects can't meet the schedules, then my department doesn't have to either.;)

Greetings kids. Back to work today! I really should have stayed with my initial plan to take today off. I am dragging. I really should have gone to bed right when I got home yesterday. I barely heard my alarm this morning. Still trying to catch up on sleep.

So I could use a refill. I got neg repped (anonymously, of course) for suggesting that one of the Michigan posters was tied with Red B. for being the worst loser after Red's post game whining about the penalties.

You can't touch the Red man. That's just common sense! I'll give you a repfill, though, out of deep feelings of Lodge solidarity.

Feel free to give me some. I got a commit on mine from one of the more Wal-Mart type of fans of Michigan, and I like to see that get pushed down the list a bit.

I've got my second interview today at 5, and I'm pretty sure they'll have me starting shifts there this week I think.

Going to have to start getting the dog out of bed sooner I think. she pooped all over my sheets today, poor old thing. just about finished with the last of my bed stuff, then I got some clothes to put in as well.

Okay, so the college hockey season is over and LODGEONIANS may have some discretionary cash to spend on events other those of a hockey nature. Take baseball for intsance. All the major league teams have any number of special promotions they put on throughout the season. Why just the other day at PNC Park in Pittsburgh it was "Get-The-Crap-Knocked-Outta-Ya-Then-Get-Cuffed" day. It was a huge success. Just look.

Hello Lodge.

That was a fun weekend. It was awesome to finally meet several posters that made the trip and hang out with others that I don't see often. I don't want to know how much alcohol I consumed from Wednesday night to early Sunday morning, I really felt much, much better than I had any right to feel yesterday.

I made it up to Grand Forks today, still have some more work to do, but I'll have some time to work on it in the hotel room tonight, so I'm taking a break from it and trying to catch up on the boards...I have a bunch of work to do...I also need to try to track down more people that I met on facebook :p

Another 8-4:10 day at school. Tomorrow I'm making pizza dough, more nougat, more peanut brittle, and I think I'm going to try making Oreos.

MNS gave me directions for the best route, I had to go through inland NoDak to get here. :p

Also, I was under the impression that Lake Aggasiz was a glacial lake :confused:

Initially NWS report from Merrill says the tornado was potentially up to an EF3 (up to 165 mph) that carved a path 1/2 mile wide, 22 miles long. Thankfully only 3 injuries, but lots of damaged factories, houses, and forest.
 
I got the the job! Starting Friday I will be working at Balance Massage Therapy in Ann Arbor along with my other spot at Vivo Wellness Center as well.
