Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Holy crap tonight!

I was so nervous when I woke up but now I am doing well. I suppose that will change in twelve hours.
I can imagine, you must be about ready to **** a bearcat or something. ;)
Good morning. I hope Duluth and Michigan give college hockey fans a game worthy of a national title tonight. Here's to an injury free game for both teams, a contest without any controversial goals and, when necessasry, short and conclusive video reviews by the on-ice officials.

As a longtime WCHA fan I'll be pulling for Duluth to win its first NCAA title and yet another championship for the WCHA. GO BULLDOGS!

Enjoy your weekend LODGEONIANS. :)
Its not quite UMD's first title. Its just the first one most of them will really ever give a **** about.

Holding my nose here. UMD probably deserves the championship more.

Oh crap!!! I forgot the bar I'm at has karaoke at 9 on Saturday's. :(

your eyes don't work? is there really a more important game on TV? (they aren't going to switch EVERY tv over are they?)

All I figure.... you don't have to listen to Melrose and you get to watch some cutie belt out something awful. I'd say that's a net plus.

Back online after being gone for a week. Hard drive got hit by a virus and it now black screens on reboot. CD-ROM has not worked for over a year. I'd love to try to save it, but it's 7 years old and I don't want to pour money into it. A new laptop is in my hands now.

Tax season is going very strangely right now. I don't know why....

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Well, I think mgoblog forced my hand. I got a some kind of script-debugging message. I didn't like what I saw so I restarted my machine. Boom went the dynamite. Now I gotta figure out how to either a) get the virus off the old hard drive, or b) get the info from the old hard drive over to the lapper, without a CD-rom or a hard drive that will boot up. I'm not sure if the old machine has a second hard drive slot. I'm not dumping a ton of money into the old machine when I just spent just under $500 for this one.

I wish Brian would get his **** together on that site. I'm far from the only one that has problems with that site.

Re: Rep Retirement Thread 132: Easter Goodies

Thanks everybody, it feels really awesome to get this offer in my first attempt at nailing a "real" job. I'm very satisfied with the starting pay, and the promotion I'll get after I complete their training program (+/- 14 months) is un-freaking-real. I'll be talking more about benefits and whatnot with them when I call to accept it early this week.
