this. I was just sick of the announcers who had crowned BC the winner before the game and were focused on how they were awesome until about the 4th CC goal when, ooh, yeah, there is another team on the ice.

Clayton State has a pretty good team this year. They probably could have done some damage in the D1 Ladies Dance this year. Don't be down for losing the championship game. It just means that only one other team out there was better than them. There's probably a dozen coaches out there in D2 that are dead last in their conference with fans and parents wanting them to be fired that would love to be in Tech's place tonight.

No doubt: BC has the biggest discrepancy between a really excellent program (and a first class coach) and their on-line fans. You think people could win with class. :rolleyes: It doesn't make any sense. When you win, your victories speak for themselves; you don't have to say anything. Oh well.

Just imagine how much more epic that weekend would have been if we could have gotten Bob or Micheal Hall to go to a strip club with us!

Remember the movie Terminator 2? And the Sarah Connor voiceover at the end of the movie when she talks about now seeing the world in a different light, not knowing what to expect because they were able to destroy the Terminator and change the future? That's kind of how I feel this morning with no BC at the Frozen Four. It's going to be a totally different trip, one I'm going to enjoy!!

'Morning, Lodge.
1140 miles is a long way to cover in less than 36 hours, especially to watch a team you're in theory not supposed to like (although their fans are fun and surprisingly welcoming, and I'm willing to bet my next paycheck that I was not the only NMU alum significant other in the mix down there) play a sport you really don't care about. Also, having electronics in a car die off one by one as you're going down the interstate 250 miles from home at 11:00 PM is quite the terrifying experience.
I'm exhausted, and now I have to go to work until 5. Someone set up the caffeine IV.

Took the wife and kid to the airport this AM and will be batching it for a few days. They're going to visit my fil until Thursday. Going to try and talk him into moving to a senior apartment or assisted living setting.

There will be lots of red meat on the menu for a few days. A little cold, but I'll fire the grill tonight.

But only if he adds us to approved visitor list at the guard shack so we can get into the exclusive gated community. :D

Just hung out laundry for the first time in months. In the lee of the wind it is kind of nice. I love hanging laundry. (I know, I am crazy)

Michigan fans are making me hate Michigan.

Stupid fantasy baseball draft page wouldn't load right, so I couldn't get certain features that I'm used to getting.

Lacrosse is on. If it goes to OT, I'm gonna set fire to a baby and kick a kitten. Wait, I probably should reverse that. Naw, f* it. Keep it as is.

Today better improve.
