Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: What are you looking forward to in the offseason?

I must say, some of my coworkers have some awesome stories. The best I heard was from an engineer i work with regularly from the UK who told about the time he was an engineer on a cargo ship in the '70's, and it got taken over by pirates off the coast of Nigeria.

You know, that is an excellent question. My only thought is that she said "bronchitis" multiple times before "RSV" came up, so perhaps it was a secondary diagnosis incase the z-pack didn't work, and AKAIK there isn't much you can do for RSV except treat symptoms.
You're pretty much correct. The nasal swab isn't difficult, but even during peak season we rarely swab adults for it, just because it has less of an effect on them. In a child, because the airway is so much smaller, there's much more to worry about. In the worse cases, they end up hospitalized just so we can keep their O2 up, regulate nebulizer treatments, and keep them hydrated.
So basically, drink lots of fluids, don't stop breathing, and use your inhaler (if they gave you one).

So apparently, my sister has developed into a born again evangelical and decided that my soul needs saving. I do not like this turn of events one bit.

just a thought, but "hey, suck my dick" would put an end to that line of questioning rather quickly.

When I was a small boy in Kansas, a friend of mine and I went fishing and as we sat there in the warmth of the summer afternoon on a river bank, we talked about what we wanted to do when we grew up. I told him that I wanted to be a real major league baseball player, a genuine professional like Honus Wagner. My friend said that he'd like to be president of the United States. Neither of us got our wish.

People hit snooze or not when they wake up except the people who have girlfirends/wives. When they wake up they have sex. Or not. Too quickly or not depending on skill level and satisfacton level. Someone found an app that makes them solve math problems to hit snooze. The math geeks were jeeped about that. The Smokin' hotts were not. I think that might be it.

Well then. I am glad I wasn't around to.......ahem....."add" to the discussion. A couple things come to mind though. Spooning. s&ss.

Best one Ive heard is a couple of engineers at Boeing decided to take some expired life rafts out but forgot about the built in locator beacon and the Coast Guard wasn't too happy when they showed out to find a couple engineers having fun.

I've said this is two other threads, but we just visited the Eisenhower Library and Museum in Abilene, KS. A fantastic site. Well worth your time.
