Don't "me"
Thinking I'm going to have to get a new desktop myself here soon. Its not always starting up like its suppose to right now. It works fine once you get it going, but you gotta hold your breath a bit to see if it fires up right. Thinking I could just get away with getting a whole new tower for it, as the screen and everything else is pretty good on it, other than I probably should clean out the keyboard sometime here.Good evening Lodge
The PC at home has the blue screen of death. PC was purchased in 2002 so I'm not surprised. Currently shopping for a PC and a laptop.
Met with people from the school district about little g as we are putting together the game plan for him starting kindergarten next fall. It was brought up that he should get a wheelchair for safety reasons. It would be used to cover long distance stuff and be used for quick mobility for emergencies such as a tornado or lock down. Makes sense.
Note to self, avoid the whole northeast.GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wednesday

NY isn't simple, that's about all I remember. All sorts of caveats and restrictions at various ages and whatnot. 16 for the permit, then it becomes a headache.
I'll be sure to get off the road.GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wednesday

It's a headache now, for sure. I got in the system just before it became a headache. You now have to have the permit for 6 months before you can even apply for a license. Also, it's 18 in NYC and LI.
I took the drivers test when i was 14, never took a permit test. Drove to school on my 15th birthday. Is he late or is the law different in MA? He turned 16 as I recall and in MN you can take the learner's permit test at 15, license test at 16. Much scarier is goldy jr taking the learner's permit this coming summer.
In other news I had lunch with the CEO of my old firm yesterday (not the one who just laid me off, the one before that). The firm founder died in the interim and it turns out things have gotten worse instead of better as I expected. The CEO not only can't hire me back, he's worried if he'll stick around.

I drove at 14, but that was with a licensed driver over 18 years old. I think the first time i drove legally was 3 weeks after my 13th birthday. Drove many times illegally before that. I was driving 80,000 pound grain semis right after i turned 15.I was just going to comment that you can get your license at 15 here. And I think I heard 14 in North Dakota, but I'm not sure.
