Meh, the only heckling most eastern fans would be subjected to at the f5 would be related to questioning the person's knowledge of geography.

And? It's still fun. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: What are you looking forward to in the offseason?

Could be a Final 5 for me next year. Mrs. SFIS is less than excited about going to Pittsburg for the FF next year, and it is the last Final 5, and we have friends there, so......

That and how they all think the F5 has five teams. Dummies!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: What are you looking forward to in the offseason?

just did the taxes... incredibly lazy (my best feature ;)) grand back from feds, grand back from state. did online filing for first time ever.

diva, i have my own and everyone else shares the others. that works, and laptops are so cheap it's truly better where we seem to have one in every room (between the two laptops and two desktops). funny but with them and the number of iphones and itouches we have and use, it is strange to think that just some time ago these didn't exist and how did we manage to function. i laugh with friends all the time how we used to have dimes and call on payphones to see who was doing what and check answering machines at home.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: What are you looking forward to in the offseason?

All of this Final Five talk has me all sorts of excited already!

BTW, ctf will be at the last Final Five as well.

My allergies are horrific this year. I've mad an appointment to see an allergist. I'm really not looking forward to the tests, which can last up to two hours, and are basically acupuncture on my back with needles of samples of pollens and other **** I may be allergic to.

I can't breathe through my nose, none of the over counter stuff works, and my nasal spray stuff now is becoming defunct as I'm becoming more immune to it. (used it for the first time Friday.)

Good Morning Lodge.

Reports of up to 11" of snow in northern MN this AM. Waiting for some wet flakes to be mixed in here in the metro. Wonder if I can get jr to dress properly for track practice today? First meet Thursday! First AAA hockey game Friday (which he may miss). Turkey hunting Saturday.

Morning!

Funny, next year I can stay home for the Frozen Four, but would have to travel for the Final Five. Bizzaro world.

Which is royally pi55ing off runners hoping to qualify for 2013, because it limits the number of available spots. These are the moments I look at some of my fellow runners and want to smack them and ask, "what the * is your deal?"
That being said, I have 2 friends out there tomorrow. Hoping they are smart about their race...
Mr. les worked the med tent a few hot yrs. WHen I asked him what it was like he just rolled his eyes.

Tell him the college guys keep something on until they are too hot to stand it. If they race or throw they put something on right after, just like the bsb pitchers.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! moanin' monday
Happy Marathon Day!
