* hockey. Ah the heartbreak sports bring are the worst. But man are the highs and happy times amazing.

Proud of the Sioux, and grateful for the hard work the team, and particularly the three seniors have put in. Had you said they'd hoist the Broadmoor and earn a one seed back in October, not many fans would've believed it.

Hammer, pulling for Ferris State now.

Something I learned this weekend: It is not smart to ask a bartender at Tom Reid's to turn on a basketball game. :D

That was funny.

Something else I learned: 7&7s are universally liked. That Finnish metal band had no idea what whiskey was (I'm sure they are more vodka/aquavit people). They loved it.

And taking a running jump onto a large pickup truck's tailgate is harder than it looks.

Yeah, it was a good night. I was surprised how dead Reid's was. There really weren't that many people there, but I guess when my comparison is final 5 weekend, it gets a little skewed.

I can't believe I didn't have gut rot today after all of those sugary shots concoctions we did last night.

So, who's coming to Final 5 next year? I'm looking at you, everyone that has never been there before.

Well this game is going exactly as expected. I should have gone with my first instinct and headed back to the hotel, called for a pizza and watched Mad Men.

Found out that we're all Greyeagle's "weird internet friends." :p

Damn. BC just looks head and shoulders above everyone else.

Just realized I never extended my congrats to the Gophers and their fans. That was a fun game to go to as a person who had no rooting interest.

It was great to see everyone. Despite the outcome on my end, I still had a blast.

Any one night... but yeah, they're probably winning it.

Les, I'm trying to see if I can get the picture Mrs. Marty took of me on the sidewalk.

We know the sentiment was there. :)

And yes, if not Houghton in October, then the F5 next March. There is no option; you all must attend one or both of those. :p
