Morning, Lodge. Get a call from my boss this morning, to ask something about work. He forgot I had the day off. Oops. Yeah, they're gonna be boned today.

Found out that right after I come back from Las Vegas for that conference+weekend trip for my niece, I have to head out a few days later to go to Houston for another conference. Houston in August. Just as bad as Las Vegas in August. That said....I figured since I have to be there for about 4 days, I'd check to see if the Astros were home. The hotel where I'm going to stay is close to the Astros' ballpark. I know this because that was the NFL headquarters for the Super Bowl when I was there. So then I thought...hmmm, that's pre-season football time. Let me check the Texans' schedule. And sure enough, they have a home game that Saturday night when I'm there. And they're playing the Patriots!! OK, so now I don't mind having to go.

Someone asked me about a camera that is waterproof/resistant. I was going to ask my folks but they were away- can't remember if it was on FB or on the Board- in case it was on here- FujiXP120. It is on great sale at ZBJs in a pkg right now.

Evening, Lodge.

As I thought, work was hell yesterday. System crashed at my building, DHBoss had to come down to help out my backup, and it was really busy. My shuttle driver to the main building said, and I quote, "PLEASE never take a day off again!" :D
