That was a pretty late post for MEUSA. I suspect he is really in the middle of the Atlantic somewhere as he is always up before 5.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! silly saturday is here.

The boys are off at practice. Lil's knees ache, he has a sore throat, is coughing and his stomach is 'off'. Rather than say go back to bed (the intelligent choice and the one that won't get the rest of the team sick) Mr gives him ibuprofen (which has the side effect of stomach distress) and off they went. I of course am a sissy girl for thinking the way I do

Morning, kids! On the bus up to Manchester to see the bf. :) Had some of the mini corn muffins for breakfast (on the bus). Came out pretty well. Next time I might substitute yogurt for half the butter (meant to do that last night, but had a beer or 3 at the bar after the game and forgot to do that - plus I'd softened the whole bar of butter anyway). They're really cute too! (Will post pics and recipe on Monday when I get back to Boston.)

i remember in high school taking cold showers all day long so i could nominally say iwasn't runnign a small fever so i could play in a soccer game. Probably not smart but i didn't suffer for it.

Usually awake long before 5. I was actually thinking of posting at around 3:30...

I'm looking at houses this afternoon, we'll see if I find anything I like. I'm looking for a bit of a fixer-upper.

Also - I saw something I'd never seen before at last night's BU game. Dainton (the UMass goalie) threw a temper tantrum after the 6th goal (no idea how it went in - he was screened, but it went through a UMass guy and at least 1 other BU player) and he broke his stick.

You have not been watching long enough:p

That guy has been incredible when I have seen him play. Reminds me of watching Roloson (who also forgot he was the goalie not the defenseman)

All of this taken out of context, and I'd say that you better look for houses mainly near Uptown and Loring Park.

What I said wasn't entirely true, now that I think about it. I think I saw Tim Thomas break a stick on tv? :confused: It was definitely the first time I'd ever seen it in person. I was surprised by the win last night - particularly since 1) Benedetto was the ref (and despite what everyone thinks - Jack doesn't have all the Hockey East refs in his pocket), 2) we haven't been playing particularly well, and 3) I'd heard really good things about Dainton, Ortiz, and J. Marcou.
