So, when I was at the Frozen Four in 2002 (or was it 2003?), not to mention 1991 and 1994, there was a Radisson Hotel walking distance from the arena. I take it that some other hotel chain has taken it over? What is it now?

It was transfered to Crowne Plaza in 2006. When the pep band stayed there the sign on top said Crownisson.

i can't believe you are going to leave your boys hanging....

Leave them hanging? How so? They'll all probably be in Florida. :) I'm not booking/planning anything. I'm thinking about it. But since I like to plan, I'm doing a little research.

I have to eat, but since I feel like **** I really don't feel like eating. This sucks.:(

Last year at F5 it was pretty nice. Well, a monsoon rain when we got there late Friday afternoon, but Saturday and Sunday were sunny and seasonably warm.

Not sure if it's the same one, but there is a Holiday Inn right across the street from the X.

Sounds like Albany and the ECAC tourney. A few years ago? 2 feet of snow on the first night of the tourney. Last year? Easily 50's and sun.

Speaking of road trips to hockey tourneys...

<--- considering the FFFF. If I don't go this year, Tampa2012 will be all systems go unless I'm floating on water somewhere.

I'd like to start making the annual Frozen Four trip... this year I'll go as far as the team goes... if we make it to Boston I'm there and anywhere else thereafter. I'm iffy on the quarterfinals (if at home) because I only want to have a lost month not a lost month and a half.

Kinda thinking about it........

Do. It. Martini on me if you do, guaranteed. Any kind of martini you want (although it better not cost $50 or something :p ).

We should make sure Reid's or McGovern's makes martinis....

If they don't, then we'll find a bar that does, so I can make good on my offer. Yes, I'm willing to go that extra mile so that the Twin Cities can have Scarlet grace us with her presence. :)

The Bulldog probably does...it's pretty close to the X, IIRC.

EDIT: Yes, it is...couple blocks from Alary's
