Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

I think "The Godfaddah" was quite possibly the best thing I've ever seen online. I think that thread was resurrected not too long ago. It should be required reading for newbies around here to see how best to slam your opponents and have them begging for more. :)

"The Godfaddah" is outstanding. So was the "$19.49 Store", where everything BC related was on sale for $19.49, in honor of the 50th anniversary of what was their only championship (at that time). The Chuck and Bobo Trials, right at the end of that board format, in the summer of 1999, were my favorites, along with another one that involved Ty Conklin and cavemen.

All produced by WIS Productions, of course. :D

I can't remember what you posted was wrong but it is a safe bet that if you are frustrated and feel you aren't buffing up a call is always OK. They can either tell you everyone is sick with what ever or they will say they want to check you out.

basically anything I eat ends up churning in my stomach and I feel awful. And let's just say it hasn't been pretty in terms of coming up. Or out. :o

Soup. And toast: Soup and toast.
Well, and whiskey: Soup and toast and whiskey.
Maybe a DS in bed with you, too: Soup, and toast, and whiskey, and something on the DS.
There you go. No charge, no Priceless faux-medical-advice price-gouging, neither. :p

Geez, between that brutal M-W-F schedule of yours and the laughable schedule of the LODGE'S other academic pinhead, [West Texas, at the Air Force Academy] the two of you almost--but not quite--have a full time job. :p

So perfesser, got any field trips planned for your students in: You, Dickinson State and the History of Pink Rocks 101 this semester?

:)

More class titles featuring Professor Rocky this spring:

VET 242: Advanced Care and Breeding of Pet Rocks
ART 417: Very Small Rocks: A Monty Python Retrospective
HIS 392: The Rise and Fall of the Third Rock
GEO 590: What To Do With A Whale-S* Island

;)

Morning, Lodge.
:D :D :D
Yeah, I saw that too.

He is to be maxed out.

He has a while to go since he is still A Spendid One To Behold. I did make a contribution.
I gave him some rep. He now has Much to be Proud of.

Sloe Gin and I were having a discussion about the hardest NES games. Eventually I led him here. Don't think he'll be out for a while.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

Chuck is one of the original legends of the board. Before this board changed to this format at the end of July 1999, he was likely the best poster around here. The stories he would conjure up, along with Rittiger and Bobo, using east coast schools and posters and usually revolving around Maine, BC and UNH, were among the best works ever to appear on USCHO. I've got some links saved away to remind some of you what the board was like, but I haven't been able to find any of his work.

What this place used to be like

Exactly! Anyone who has never read "The Godfaddah" should go to http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?t=58518&page=7. Start on post #28. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Sleepy. Congested. Heading to the bedroom to maybe play some NHL 2k4, or just sleep. Sleep sounds good. Preferably not while playing, but we'll see.
