Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 97: ways to train a dragon

So, my great-grandma passed away this afternoon. She was 98, and it was her time, but it was still really hard. She lived a couple blocks away all my life, and I spent a lot of time with her. Like bb_dl told me, if she golfed when she was 90 that automatically made her awesome. (She golfed 'til she was 90 or 91 and picked berries until she was about 94)
Sorry to hear, ctf. Quite the accomplishment that she was in your life as long as she was. I'm the only one that "knew" a great grandparent in my family and she passed when I was a year old, so I have no recollection of her at all.

My last great-grandparent died at age 90 when I was four. I don't remember her at all, but I have home movies, transferred to VHS video with both her and me on it. I should retransfer them to DVD. She was one of eight children. Her five brothers all had died before WW-II and both of her sisters perished in Camp Gurs in the Holocaust. :(

Sorry to hear that, think of things she saw in her life, you were lucky to share some of that. I was never really around my grandparents Let alone great grandparents.

Geez, between that brutal M-W-F schedule of yours and the laughable schedule of the LODGE'S other academic pinhead, [West Texas, at the Air Force Academy] the two of you almost--but not quite--have a full time job. :p

So perfesser, got any field trips planned for your students in: You, Dickinson State and the History of Pink Rocks 101 this semester?

:)
