morning Lodge. Dealing with a nasty bug right now. Basically the only things I'm eating/drinking are soda crackers, water, Gatorade, and Sprite. We're supposed to fly back to Colorado this morning...I'm debating calling in for my next trip...but if I do, I need to do it soon so they can get a replacement out there...

Thanks. The kids are happy, but it feels kind of empty to me - it was a Wisconsin Tourney. Even though they called it Peewee B, it's not even close to MN PWC level. We are an average PWC team and dominated all games (still lost our first game as our goalie had a horrible game and theirs stood on his head - more than doubled their shots).

And in another episode of "'Diva Makes Great Life Choices", I decided yesterday afternoon that I was going to stay in Houghton for the night, then leave super early to get back to MQT for work. Well, when it was 4:45 am and I was somewhere between Chassell and Baraga with no where open to get coffee, I immediately regretted this poor choice. However, I made it home with time to spare after getting ready.
In other news, yesterday was one year for myself and a certain Tech poster with an identity crisis.
Now, back out on to the snowy roads to play History Teacher for the day!

So while the zamboni was resurfacing after first period of the championship game of the kids 'sconny tourney they played music over the PA and the hockey moms from our team got into it. It's now on youtube
My wife is the blond one in the black jacket on the far right (usually out of the picture) - the one who knows all the moves to YMCA.

Michigan had a 6 point weekend! First time since October. (feel free to mock the CCHA and their messed up scoring/shootouts)
It was difficult for me to watch Brady lose like that (I still cheer for Michigan players).
410 area code is where I grew up...and there are a few kids I went to high school with that I could see that being.
Then I had a 2 point weekend. Boyfriend had shoulder surgery Thursday, he's doing well, but I was unable to score that 3rd point.
Michigan had a 6 point weekend!

Biggest walleye was 17.5" So no, not really. For eight guys it was pretty poor. five keeper walleyes and 12 keeper jumbo's. We moved to different depths and bottoms trying to figure out what the heck they wanted. We fished depths of 12' to 28', gravel, boulders, mud, sand. No good. Again, the camera was down, lots of fish in view, some really nice walleye's swam right up to our bait, no bite. They were sluggish after the high pressure system moved in. With the current forecast, I'll guess Wed. or Thurs. will be really good fishing.
