ST...no hating on The Northern. bbdl would like it there. I've only been there once FTR...
I could only help you in your apparent mission...But he wouldn't have to go there if he was with me...
Haha, have fun with that...But he wouldn't have to go there if he was with me...
Yes, you do.Do I even want to know what the Northern is?
It's an LCD. I didn't know safe mode lowered the resolution, but that's good to know - otherwise I wouldn't be able to change the resolution as the screen on the laptop is completely useless now.
It was definitely plugged in and turned on - the computer itself was illuminated/fan was running, so I know at least that part of it was functional.
The last thread only lasted a week. That's the fastest in a long time.
ST told me what it is.Yes, you do.
And now that I know what the Northern is, it makes this post that much more interesting!Yeah he probably would, after all he IS from Tech...
But he wouldn't have to go there if he was with me...
Thanks! 12/13/09 at 8:26PM Real time (EST).Congrats to Yager.
I have the goal as Sloe Gin from Painted_Bandit and crazytechfan. Was the time posted?
No beeps, no flashing lights. The screen is totally blank - it just gives a "no signal" message and that's it (which is precisely what it would do if you turned it on and didn't have it connected to anything).Does anything at all come on the screen when you first start up? Any beeps? Any pattern of flashing lights?
Yeah, that looks like what I'll have to do. Asus tech support said the same thing: "Take it back to the reseller".I think something fundamental is broken, and since you bought it from Best Buy, it's ultimately their responsibility to make sure it works. I'd just take it back and ask for a replacement.
Yeah, but Freddy had better quality hacks!!Some guy named Gryba passed Freddy's BU hacking record on Friday, although I suspect it took him more games to do it.

My research (and by that I mean I quickly scanned a couple of blogs and Wikipedia, so take it for what it's worth ) shows that as of today Meyer and Gryba have played exactly the same number of games! 126. Cue the "Twilight Zone" music . . .
(There must be something to having a "y" in the middle of your last name or something.)
