Evening, Lodge. Made a really nice dinner. Pretty easy, too. Roast in the crock pot and some awesome mashed sweet potatoes with chipotle peppers. (Thank you, Alton Brown!) Washed down with a nice merlot. Sweet potato pie for dessert.

Is it Wednesday, yet?

Hastings. They beat St. Cloud 9-1 and we beat them 12-1, then we lost to perennial hockey power ....

Boys came out flat, other team is HUGE and once they scored the first one, our team all tried to do it themselves one on one. :rolleyes:

Ah, makes more sense now, St. Mary's Point has no A or B teams, two C teams. So many of them are 2nd years while we have one 2nd year

He's referring to the high school score, EHS beat SLP 17-0 last night. We were there for the first 14 goals. SLP is reeaaaallllll bad.

Yep, they are technically a Park Board team (same with Langford in St. Paul). When I was coaching several years ago we ran into a St. Mary's Point C team. Same deal, they don't have A or B teams and had the best five players on the ice - two were A caliber IMHO - which makes a huge difference, especially when they are playing a C team. Of course, they also had the worst five players on the ice. :)

Because you need to be kept out of the lodge, that's why. Now go away.

We're up to our *** in foopers, we don't need fooper wannabes piling atop them. That'll just make things worse.

You'll only be allowed into the lodge if you respond to the other poll I created.

I've learned more about the upper peninsula than any normal man ever should... i thought all that area was a preserve set aside for wrestling brown bears and to provide extra security against the Canadian menace.

What happened was, a bunch of WI people got drunk, and in their stupor got turned around and started heading east, not west. They landed in the UP, built the Yooper Looper POS Abortion intersection, and then couldn't figure how to get out of the UP, because that intersection confused them. So they stayed and due to inter-clan breeding, they started de-voloving and became shorter and more non-functional in society over time.
