Morning Lodge.

OF COURSE there has to be a winter storm watch the weekend I have to drive down to DIA and fly to Vegas. OF COURSE.

If my flight gets delayed I will be angrier than I was last night.

I'm pretty proud of that myself :p

Good morning to the rest of ya :)

Off to get ready for my day, which includes 2 hockey games (my little 9-year-old brother's tournament game, and the Fargo Force game) and some hot tub time... Should be a good day!

Afternoon Lodge

As I've been saying - for the first time in my 3.5 seasons of Tech fandom, I am glad to have other plans tonight. Some sort of Christmas concert for charity thing, plus dinner out with friends from the next county over.

Sounds a hell of a lot better than listening to the Huskies stumble through another dress rehearsal with a short bench. Hopefully they can keep the loss respectable tonight.

Seeing as how Mother Nature has seen fit to bestow a winter storm watch upon the Front Range for tonight, I'm booking it for Denver while I still can and getting a hotel near the airport so I don't get shut out of I-25 tomorrow. I may listen simply out of boredom.

Good luck, hope you make it to Vegas so you can quickly forget about the abortion that is our season so far.

If Tech's games against Mankato were any indication, Minnesota should sweep, but given that the series is at the MacInnes (albeit with a crowd of about 2000, tops) I will give us the benefit of a Tech win...er, "tie".

Is allowing people in tLodge one of my Queen responsibilities? I can never remember.

So, I go down to my storage bin in the garage to get out my snow shovel and bring up my Christmas tree and decorations. Apparently they re-plastered the ceiling above my bin, which does not have a cover, and there is plaster everywhere. Nothing is really damaged, but it's a mess. There are clumps of dried plaster stuck on things and plaster dust everywhere. I just emailed the condo association about it. I told them that it was upsetting and disrespectful that they did this work over my personal property and never got any kind of notice to move or cover my stuff. I asked who hired the workers and why they never heard of a drop cloth. I told them I want a written apology and for someone to come by and clean out my bin. I have no idea if it's even safe/unhealthy. I feel like I should hold off payment of my next condo fee till that's done.

Oh, and if flights are delayed, keep your anger a bit subdued. We really don't want national headlines about Twitch Boy. :p

Every queen needs a border guard. :o

Plaster shouldn't be harmful to your health at all, but you're right to ask for restitution.

Afternoon, Lodge. Went to my friend's party - not terribly exciting, but I proved that I still have the strongest liver of anyone in that group. :o

WHich one of these things is not like the other....No one else was happy.
I was. ;) (It was a good game last night. I was nervous that entire final few minutes, and that doesn't happen to me much anymore.)

Now, college football, on the other hand...UNH has -28 yards. Ugh. Stupid Villanova.
