Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 90: This Poll Sucks!!!

I thought Lee LeNores closed. :D
:) The guy was Denson Malone, former nose guard. I think he played with Ben Williams.
i remember some dude i worked with before telling me that he preferred men to rub him, due to the need for stronger hands to reach his muscles.

i believe my response was something like this --
It was my first time ever getting a massage, and I was going for a therapeutic reason - injured shoulder playing hockey. If I was going for relaxation, I would looking for House of Lin's Happy Ending Massage or something. Also, this guy's office is like 10 minutes from my house and his rates are a few bucks cheaper than the other places I found.

Full sleeves.

:D
Oh, good God no. :p

That would mean I didn't have to go thru with the rest of the day. That would be OK. My head hurts and the diptwinkie receptionists (who i am having less and less respect for) managed to completely book my day except for three 15 minute appts. by this past Tuesday, in Flu season, with me off for the next 4 days. The other NP has about the same avail. No Dr today. Yep. Where are they going to put the people who need to come in? and the office manager needs to grow up, get some gonads and start writing these dips up instead of sounding like a 5 yr old who isn't happy. /end rant. That felt good.
What in the hell is a diptwinkie???

I'm not sure much tamer does it justice:D
Everybody knows everybody's habits, and pretty much everybody knows the same basic posts from N00bs anyways. ;)

Leaving to go get my first ever massage. This should be interesting.

And the masseur is a former Gopher football player. His hands are likely to be the size of my head.
Massage Therapist ****:p

Some people do say that, there are a lot of muscles that you really gotta dig in a bit to get at them. Its going to be a while yet, but in Myofascial, they were telling us how to get to the Psoas muscle, as it can cause a lot of problems in the pelvis and hips when its tight. Basically, you about gotta pull off a Temple of Doom maneuver but only in the lower abdomen.

Hmmm... Going to guess he didn't do too much with the first visit. Light massage, maybe some forced manipulation of the scapulas and the rest of the shoulder, stuff to just keep you lose and get blood flow to the injury.

Did another 3 rubs today. Knocked out 2 of the massages that I have to give to other massage therapist, and got another student in for my 30 friends and family. Only real problem I had was my last one, as she was a pretty beautiful African-American Woman, and for a while, I had a certain Sir Mix-A-Lot song stuck in my head.:o

No, most of it was using hard pressure with controlled breathing, working certain nodes in the muscle "to help relieve any reflective pain." First it was on my neck, the muscle next to the carotid artery, then the front of my shoulder. That was followed by work around my shoulder on the back side, then areas around my back that were related to other groups in the shoulder. After that finished, he did some relaxation stuff across my back, hamstrings, calves and feet.

Evening, Lodge. Finally home from work after a long and incredibly slow (seriously, there was pretty much nobody shopping today) day at work.

I have to be back in 8 hours

Sounds like some more advanced stuff that I haven't gotten yet.

Using my real (full) name: Pelo Numero Uno
Using my forum name: Cubano Más Macho

No Chupacabras for me. :(

bando: That blows, a lot. I'm also not jealous of another friend who has to work at 4:45 AM on Black Friday.

We had a mini-Black Friday this morning, due to the release of the Cities 97 CD. Of course they pulled the girl I was training to cashier, so we didn't get started until 8:30 or so (usually, I'm up and running by then).

Who, me? :p

On another note, starting tomorrow, I will have ordering access for my photo lab supplies. Now I don't have to hunt Tim down to do it for me. Plus, I will be staying late on Monday to start to learn how to close as a head cashier...seeing as how the one with the broken foot is applying for short term disability. This will be an interesting Christmas season.

Yeah, it was really weird. I was there for 8 hours and I rang up MAYBE 50 customers. At one point they had me loading returns for a few different departments, and I helped with the cash pull, and they had me zoning the apparel. I know they sent a couple others to zone foods and such too. They don't want management to see us not doing anything. Protip: if management doesn't want to see us doing nothing, don't schedule so many people when they aren't needed, or give us more specific tasks than "clean up apparel" when it's been done all day and all we're doing is messing things up so we can fix it again.
