Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Hi Lodge.

So on the new product I helped convince my company to have 4 of the plastic parts (most complex ones) done locally. Those are the only 4 parts which are not yet qualified. 2 months behind schedule. Haven't even received a full inspection report on them. :(

Evereyone here is very aware of how late these parts are compared to what was promised, and it looks like that company won't be getting new business from us again.

I don't want to send our business overseas but with results like this from the local supplier (that we've been working with for years), it's a difficult arguement.

Everyone on the PC thread implies that it might be Mrs. Army. I don't know if they're kidding or not. But why would Tim Army's better half be obsessed with the state of Merrimack's rink?

Well, Tim Army IS on Twitter - anything is possible.

I am sick of construction. They are now into our development and I had to wait every time I was trying to go or come back today while they filled dump trucks with whatever they are digging out of the middle of the road. Probably wouldn't be happy either way but it would've been nice if they could warn us we will need to wait 10+ minutes to try and go anywhere.

Apparently skiing is very important to Colorado's economy!
The amount I care is somewhere between how much I care about ethical treatment of convicted child molesters and how much I care about AIDS in Africa.
Been to both, Fargo is far preferable as a destination.
As long as it isn't sandbag season.

Federal Committee on Statistical Methods research conference... I've learned more about data editing, data disclosure, disclosure avoidance, and administrative records (IRS data) than I ever wanted to know. by that i mean, I don't really want to know it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Wrapping up the work day a bit early. My wife and I have a friend who works in the kitchen at a local church. The church received an incorrect shipment of food which it cannot use and the food supplier won't accept its return. The good news is the church does not have to pay for the food. Our friend called my wife a day or two ago and asked if we'd be willing to take the food to the Denver Rescue Mission.

Since we are scheduled to work at DRM later this afternoon and into the early evening, I'm now heading to the church to pick up the food and then head to DRM. Enjoy the rest of your day and evening. :)

Hopefully, you didn't leave a thumb drive on the Metro. :D

you know they have ones that are fingerprint secured... I had a finger print scanner on a laptop once... tried different figures to get it to turn on/log in... it worked... so that's my trust in those. To me the data stays at work and i don't trust myself to telecommute (sure, I'll work on that... as soon as i get done with mario kart) so there's no danger of disclosure danger on my part.

Paging Ralph!!! I want to call for a pizza. Looked in the Yellow Pages here in the room but I don't know which one would be the closest one to where I am. It's a Districtof Columbia one. Even though I'm in Maryland, they should deliver here, right?

I would think the front desk there would be able to tell you the best.

Just call one. If it's the wrong one they'll tell you the number for the right one. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Yeah, but I'm lazy. :)

I would think outside of the city would be hit and miss... depends how close you are and which neighborhood its in.

Worst case, why not pull up Yelp and try to see if you can find something a bit more local to try and bypass the phonebook.

edit: I had pizza half way between chinatown and metro center today... mmm. :)
