Back from HH and bigboy hockey.

HH the boys won again. Watching them is so nice- they are all patting each other on the head and talking to each other. Lots of looking to pass. Here is the best thing:D The goalie they played against is one of the goalies from the azzhat team (not sure if he left the other team or if he is playing 2 teams). First shift of the game L'il went down and scored- beauty goal. Next shift- an A, next shift another one. They shellacked the other team even tho they were passing a lot. L'il was on the ice for 6 of his team's goals. Take that you *ers. :D :D I didn't see the kid's parents and I was glad for that. The dad was/is one of the coaches for the azzhats.

Then flew up the highway to the big boy game, they won and no one got hurt.

Its always a good day when the good guys win. Went down to Ashland, OH today and watched GV take care of business. Only compaint I had about the day is that it was just kinda going from about splitting to misting all day, nothing to really soak you, but enough to make ya feel damp. With it starting to threaten more, went at halftime to go put on my rainsuit that I got for my birthday. :D almost made me wish the heavens would have opened up some more and really give it a test. ;)

I can't give up on hockey. Yeah, Tech sucks, Gophers suck, Wild suck, but I'll still watch hockey. High school hockey hasn't even started yet, and I'm planning on going to a bunch of high school games this year.

Should be starting soon...IIRC from my playing days, MEA weekend (which was last weekend I think) is tryouts for HS hockey...

EDIT: Nevermind. First day of practice is November 16th...BSM's first game is December 1st at the Concrete Center against STC Tech.

EDIT2: 3rd game of the year is @Hill-Murray...that should be a good one...

Yeah, I use the rule of thumb that the games start shortly after Thanksgiving.
I need to find a school to be a fan of this season....possibly Blaine.

I just discovered that you can use sour milk to make macaroni and cheese and the cheese powder completely covers up the sour taste!

Of course I'll be rooting for them, but most of their games are too far for me to drive to. I also want to find a AA team to root for. I was pulling for Edina last year, but it made my feel like a bad person.:p ;)

RPI hockey welcomes all comers. I'll be your "bad cop" for instructional purposes, Ralph will be your "Good cop." Ralph will teach you oodles of history and lots of math. I'll take you drinking and teach you awesome things to yell at people.

Come to think of it, maybe I'm the good cop.

Howdy Folks
Back from a weeks R and R in sunny Fla. Had fun, ate too much, drank alot and walked alot. The Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT is a blast, lots of good food and lots of good beer.Sam Adams brewed a beer just for the festival, anniversary #14, it was awesome.
Blizzard Beach and Typhon Lagoon rule, love the wave pool at Typhon Lagoon, being tall allows me to stay out where the wave starts, avoiding all the short peasants:D

I don't get Facebook. Logged into my account this morning and the time before that was a couple months ago. Sure it's sort of neat to see a person that I hadn't thought about since third grade. However, do I really need to know who is currently grocery shopping, blowing their nose or whatever? Also, I don't have the time to keep up with everybody. I am glad I decided to block Facebook at the office.

Is it just me? :confused:

Don't have it,half my friends do. I don't get it. I have enough stuff to keep up with without feeling obligated to check that too.
