You could use tables, but you'd want to keep a copy of that seperate so that it was easy to update. Otherwise it would be a pain to retype each time.

Tables on the board can't have any spaces between tags. Otherwise it creates blank lines at the bottom of your post.

Example (will display since no HTML in polls):

Dear moron co-worker,

Trim your nose hairs.
Do not lean into me/invade my space when talking to me...I can hear you just fine from several feet away. There is no need for me to know that your nose hairs need trimming.

I got a Blackberry today. I had received an email with instructions. They are a little different than ones that came with the device. Plus software. I'm assuming that I will need to load the software on my computer, not the one I'm working at (my client's while she's on maternity leave). It's just way too confusing and I have no time or patience for trying to figure this out.

That was what was mentioned before, and it was a bit of a pain to eliminate all of the spaces. I do keep a copy in a TXT file, so I can get around having to redo everything. I'll experiment, but I may wait a few days to see if Board didn't do it on purpose.


Edit: And it will be a big pain in the *** to redo all of the posts at the beginning of that thread. :mad:


Edit^2: I sent Ed T a message asking if this change is permanent.

SiouxFanInSeattle underwent prostate surgery yesterday and I received a note from his daughter saying that the surgery went well, SFIS is doing well and that she'd send more news later in the week. I'll try to remember to post what I receive.

The Storm update is beneficial to anyone on a 4.x version.

At the risk of everyone jumping all over this high fastball up the middle.

I just spent the last hour and a half in a closet that's been converted into a tel com server/admin bank with a technician from our tel com provider. I'm a big guy. He's a big guy. He's a pipe smoker, no question. I was less than a foot away from him the entire time. Now I smell like a pipe smoker, and everything around me smells like pipe smoke.
I'm really a freak for personal space. I think it's the German in me. All of my coworkers remind new people who get too close - "Gonzo has a bubble. Don't break his bubble". I HAD to learn the phone system, but I was distracted and uncomfortable the entire time. :( :o

whats the memory leak situation with the upgrade? I'm planning on doing it tonight anyways, just curious if that has improved any.

FWIW: I have started using RestartMe instead of quick pull lite. Same thing, except I can't have it do it on a scheduled basis, but it's a click program as opposed to quick pulls scroll, which is nice too.

He wrote back and said they turned it off to stop some abuse, but he'll try to turn it back on this evening. :)

I've never had a memory leak with mine, no matter which version I've had. But my memory is getting a little low, since I have so many 3rd party apps installed now. I don't use any of the battery pull apps, I just pull the battery when I want to do that. :p
