McSteamy and Co are actually suing the 3rd party who allegedly stole said sex tape (it was in the news, I'm usually unaware of said things), IIRC.

Uh, wT is a HOMO-ner, er homeowner, people are golfing, drinking, enjoying the weekend, and there's a new poll. That's about it.
This post reminded me of nothing so much as the first Rep Thread Summary (especially the last sentence):

See Post 519

I want to thank you for volunteering to perform this necessary task, Brenthoven. You make me happy.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Have you "broken in" the bed in your dorm room yet? (You are staying in the dorms, right?)
Goodness gracious, what kind of girl do you take me for.
Plus, it's not like there's a ton of really hot guys all over campus, including the new hockey players, who have a habit of whistling....
*cough*

So I think the real question here is simple. Is your roommate cute?
Which leads to the other real question, ctf, have you made out with your cute new roommate yet?:p
Actually, I do seem to remember her saying that she was rooming with someone she already knows, so this probably happened quite a while ago.;)

The girl I was going to room with is cute. However, can't say I'd make out with her. Too much like a sister.

If I'm not mistaken, she's living at home for a semester. Any "breaking in" ceremonies will have to wait until she has the money to move out, or meets some clueless nerd living in the CS hall. :p
What he said, minus the CS thing, unless he's REALLY hot.

Are we sure said CS Hall nerd would know how to break in a bed?? ;)
Exactly - it'd be her job to teach him. :p
Once again, what he said. I prefer being in control.

You wanna know why it's currently pouring out in downtown Boston?? Because I neglected to bring an umbrella with me. I hope it stops before I leave. The weather guy this morning said "chance of an isolated thunderstorm, north of the city." Idiot.

Scarlet, you've been living in Boston how long? (Note: rhetorical question) You don't bring an umbrella with you every day and have an extra in the office?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Closed circuit to les regarding your rep. It's an absolute mess and I have been specifically instructed to quit "meddling". Apparently the truth hurts and reality is something nobody wants to accept or deal with. Surprise, suprise.

I am north of Boston and we have had a number of isolated showers that have been torrential so far today.

I usually do, but it's my first day back. I'm lucky I packed a lunch!

And I do have an extra one here, or at least I did. Our office went through a major renovation and I had to pack up my cube and I have no idea what I did with it. At the moment, the sun is now out, so I should be OK!

But while I have you here....I may need your assistance with my laptop and my photos that I tried to load. I would need to show you as opposed to trying to handle this here or in email.

I thought she lives in Meffa?

Interesting story. (Well, really not.) When I was a freshman, one of the guys living across the hall from me said that he lived in Meffa. Actually, it sounded more like Meffuh to me. Several months later, he mentioned that Tufts is there, and I figured him out.

If I have the wrong place, then I will delete this message. :D

I think it is Revee-ah Beach

Ummm hmmm... :p

Sounds good to me. I am available most week nights these days (with enough notice).

I think it is Revee-ah Beach
That's where I live. Scarlet does, in fact, live in Meffa.

No, you have the right place. You can say you live "in Boston", or the Boston area. I'm physically about 4 miles from city limits. I'm in the city all day, so what she said was correct. And yes, Tufts is in Meffa. Or Medfid, as I pronounce it. :) It's on the Medfid/Summaville border actually.

'ewe - if it's not too much trouble, I may invite myself and my laptop and camera manual over. Let me check my schedule and I'll email you and see when you're free.

Sounds good -- you'll get to see the new digs! :) (I think you'll very much like the color of the kitchen :p )

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

I enjoy being able to set my own work week hours. It means lots of ten hour days, but the "upside" is that it also allows me to work many four day work weeks. Like today for instance.

Just completed a four hour ten minute round of golf with three strangers...all of whom turned out to be good guys and accomplished golfers.

I didn't hit it well off the tee, but did absolutely everything else spectacularly well [for me]. Played from the blue tees on a course measuring 6,498. Par seventy-one. Par rating: 71.1. Slope:125.

Shot a 39-37=76, five over par. That included two bogey sixes on par fives on the back nine. I had six pars on each side. Only one three-putt green all day and I had eight one-putt greens. I was draining everything in sight. I couldn't find my swing on my tee shots today, but otherwise, played as well as it's possible for me to play. Golf sure is fun when you play with accomplished players and traffic ahead of you on the course is moving at a decent speed. Looking forward to get in another round this coming weekend with good friends.

I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. :)

Nice. I don't get to set my own hours exactly...but no one seems to care when I do. I just put in my time for last week and found I worked 38.5 hours through Thursday, so although I took all of Friday off, I only put 1.5 hours of vacation down.

I've done this before and no one has said anything to me, and I figure once they do I'll ask for comp time for being sent to China and occassionally working weekends.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Got a new scanner this weekend- on amazing sale but way more bells and whistles than I am used to. I have to decide if I want wireless or USB. I guess the installation is different. I really want to just have someone take care of it all, give me a lesson on how to use it and then go away. Sigh.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

I just found out that I'll be in 6-Sigma training:rolleyes: the week of December 7th, and that I have to be there all week until 5 on Friday. I'm not very happy since that kills my plans to take vacation, go to Houghton on Thursday and stay all weekend for the Minnesota-Tech series.

Yes, that officially blows. On the plus side, flights are only $350 round-trip, and you could get up there in time to close out the bars on Friday.
