Morning Lodge.

New thread!!!!!!

Morning all,

At work early.

Is it football season yet?

Not yet, but if you need tickets for a game sometime let me know. My brother and his college roommate decided to get season tickets together. They bought them just for the OSU game and I said I could probably find someone to purchase the rest. I think my parents may use tickets for one weekend (please don't run them over), and I'll use a few. But basically if you want 1 or 2 tickets to a game, I may be able to help you out.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

My wife and I are heading to Crested Butte today for several vacation days. CB is in a gorgeous part of the state between Gunnison and Aspen. We'll be joining three of our friends, two of whom my wife has known for almost forty years. We'll be doing lots of high country, off-road jeeping--which will afford us terrific views of Colorado which can't be seen any other way--especially when we tackle The Devil's Punch Bowl.

We're eagerly anticipating spending time with close friends, seeing picturesque vistas in that part of the state, having some delicious meals and sitting around with a cocktail or three on the porch before dinner. I hope your weekend agenda brings you the same kind of rest, relaxation and fun we'll be having. :)

Mornin Lodge! Drive by on my way to work early again. Yesterday completely sucked oatmeal through a twisty straw so here's hoping today goes a little more smoothly.

Oatmeal through a twisty straw? hmm. Could be challenging, could be fun.

I hope your day goes better.

Good Morning Lodge!

I'm looking forward to the weekend. Tonight, MEg, Bidco and I think some others are coming over for a while, then I think we're all going to do something later. Should be a fun time. Then on Saturday night, some good friends from high school want me to go camping with them. I've never been a big fan of going out into the woods to sleep, just for the hell of it, but it sounds like they're getting a big group together, and that there will be attractive, single girls coming along, so it could end up being fun.

Mornin' Loj!

Where's the option for Cuban refugee raft? This poll sucks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Not that I would choose it, but what about the gravy boat?

This poll is beyond suck.

I think I get to see them next weekend. I have to go to a sucky baseball game to do it, but I guess I can live with that.

Banana Boat? Slow boat to China?
And it's not multiple choice. Shame shame.

Hyper and jittery and happy this morning.
Large caramel high rise from Caribou.
Weaned myself off of caffeine a while ago.
:D

I will be in BFE southern Indiana next weekend, still don't know what I'll be doing over the weekend. I thought about going to Cincinnati to catch a Reds game, but they're out of town. Now I'm thinking about doing the bourbon tour in Kentucky.

Have I mentioned that I love you.

You're considering a bourbon tour?
I'm shocked, I tell you. Shocked. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Hi kids. Happy Friday.

Kind of a crappy day yesterday. 'ewe, we may actually work for the same people. Heh. Just issues with my client on two projects that made me feel like I did something wrong, or not doing something right or, I don't know. My Thursday night drinks with the hottie bartender friend bailed on me at 9:00am yesterday and I was like, no worries. I can stand to save some money. Then this drama. I grabbed one of my other co-workers, who was also having A Day and she joined me. Walked in and hottie bartender was like "Uh oh - is this a martini night?" It was. Only one, though. Stayed till about 7pm, then went to another place to meet some other co-workers and hung out with them till about 9:45pm.

So, my new manager had been out for the day and emailed to ask me how my day was going. I told there there were a few issues I wanted to chat with her about in the morning. Nothing serious, just some guidance on how this should be handled, etc. Spoke with her today and she is going to follow up with the client. By virtue of her position, it's her client, too. Anyway, I don't know how I feel about that. I mean, I'm glad she is my advocate but on the other hand, it sorta makes me feel like I whined to her and I should be able to deal with this on my own, you know? We'll see what happens.

Our office is being renovated this weekend so I'm actually in the middle of packing. They're kicking us out at 3pm so I need to finish up.

Titanic, because everyone thinks I'm unsinkable, but in reality I'm doomed. :D

Afternoon Lodge. The job search continues...

Good afternoon all. What's for lunch?
