WHat kind of teenager is awake at 8:14 AM? moreover awake enough to call to try to sell me Cutco knives? I was not awake yet.:(

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here
They are good knifes, I did the whole selling them off bit for a semester. They do pretty much sell themselves when you stack em up against whatever dull and rusty blades you got in your kitchen.

Mmmm.... Bacony Ice Cream.

Getting ready to leave for lunch.

I will also be going out to buy little gII a birthday gift. He turns the big #1 on the 17th. Where does the time go?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I just read an issue of Car & Driver to avoid work. It was quite informative.

edit: I managed to fight back my headache with a handfull of ibuprofin

Fun. I did research on tires to avoid work. It was productive. I've decided that I love driving more aggresively with my awesome Mazda 3...but I'm not liking the expense of the "performance" tires. Stupid 17 inch wheels and tires with not much tread life expectancy.

But oh so much fun to have a car that I can be an ***hole in and cut people off. :D

And in case anyone didn't notice from that post, no, I am not a car person. I like cars that get me from A to B inexpensively.

i get flipped off on average twice a day.... the most fun was an old woman who i saw behind me... two hands at two and ten, and two eyes peering over the wheel. she turned her right hand around and grabbed the wheel - then extended upward the middle digit. efffher!:D

driving rule #1) the left lane is not the travel lane;)

I had that on the motorola that I had 3 phones ago.

Aw, c'mon guys. You're killing my excitement about getting one of these. I'm not 100% sold on this, but since my car is paid off, I thought I'd splurge. It may come in handy when I'm stalk...I mean attending the Emmys and trying to meet celebs. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Sure it is. Pour yourself a drink and relax! Oh, better get home from work before pouring that drink.;)

Why go home before getting a drink? I had a beer with my lunch today. It was wonderful and helped me relax before attacking the 2nd half of my work day.

We're just here to help you see through the hype.

You should wait for the next one to come out, I hear it is supposed to cure cancer and print $100 bills at the same time.

That would be frowned upon here...

Fairly quiet day in here -- I can't believe it's already almost 4!

I'm thinking about a Palm Pre (I already have Sprint).

"Here" as in where you work? I'm not sure anyone would encourage me to drink during work hours (except the co-workers I go to lunch with), but 1 beer isn't going to do much (usually). And until someone tells me otherwise, I figure it is acceptable.

Now if you meant "here" as in the Lodge...then I'm very confused. I thought this place was all about drinking, bacon, gutter minds and having Freddy Meyer options.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

wT - are you heading east again for Michigan's 2nd trip to Agganis?

I'm somewhat tempted. Afterall, my friends and I didn't get to see the whole game last year...in fact my one friend never made it into the arena. However, we're planning the big trip out to Anchorage just 2 weeks before that. I'm not sure I can afford the trip out East too. And it'll be even less likely if I can get football tickets (we have Penn State at home that weekend).

So, I guess the answer is, probably not. :(
