My memory is a little fuzzy on the mispronunciation, but the FF announcer in Tampa did not pronounce it correctly (which was kind of embarrassing).

KWIN-ih-pee-ack is correct.

Kwin-ih-PEE-ack is not.

It's really not that hard but you'd be amazed at some of the variations I've heard.

I searched for the "I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!" scene from The Office on YouTube and now I'm getting all kinds of ads for bankruptcy lawyers.

I heard "Qwih-NEH-pee-ack." I suppose that is closer to the correct.

Wow, that would drive me bonkers. I just did the airport-->home commute and it took me 50 minutes. I usually fly from DTW, but given the recent construction around that area, I said "fck it" and switched airports for now. It's literally the same distance in road miles, but I've been saving at least 15 minutes in drive time getting to/from FNT, then saving 5-10 minutes with the walk to and through security, then a 5-10 min wait to board (assuming I time it right).
