Good evening Lodge!

Fiiiinally got the limb off the line today, sort of. The internets kept dropping off. I got a little hot under the collar- Verizon sucks and our internet speed is terrible to begin with. Then I realized the limb the tree guy left hanging off the pole was now stuck on the telephone line and it was taut. Call to National Grid and she tells me she will send someone out to look at it. There are already 2 tickets open on this thing- one from us and one from the neighbors. I get hotter under the collar. Verizon guy shows up- he can't touch it. The NG shows up- starts to tell me he will have to call the arborist. I might of become a little irritable. End result he takes out a pole saw and chops the thing. Mysterious internet problems resolve and now the lights aren't dimming once in awhile. Yay me!!

I received an unknown amount from Edward Lametek Adamu. Using the average to date, the total is now $650,389,399.93.

Evenin', Lodge. Had a beer bottle share today. For those unfamiliar:

Everyone brings a 25oz bottle (or so, sizes slightly range). You open your bottle, take your share, set it on a table. Then it's fair game for anyone else to sample, usually 2-3 oz pours at most. Lots of good beer was had (and a couple meads, too). Some big boys were cracked ($100+ bottles), as a nice bonus.

Was it also from Adamu? He works for the Central Bank of Nigeria.

back at work. quick one nighter in london was too quick. eat enough pork and drank enough to hopefully last until mookie heads east end of next month :p

It seems like yesterday. Thinking back realizing lots happened in those years- kids, people getting married, families losing people, new jobs, losing jobs, surgeries, big decisions. Wow.
