MN had 130 heat index in late July, but the news was only briefly mentioning that, b/c NY/Bos was SO HOT (they were, but not even close to what the midwest was dealing with).

So my wife and I close on the sale of our house a week from Friday, and therefore I've been in the process of emptying the basement. Last night I disgorged it of my weightlifting weights - barbells, plates, and dumbbells. I'm feeling sore today, so I decided to calculate how much weight I actually own. It tallied at 1,210lbs, and I moved it all out to the garage in over the course of about 60 minutes. I never realized how much weight I owned.

I received an unknown amount from Mrs. Arwa Al Khatib. Using the average to date, the total is now $631,617,305.46.

Will hopefully hit the Fair with my parents Labor Day weekend. If we can't make our schedules work, I'll just go on Labor Day and do my own thing.

Afternoon...little day work trip to visit Delta's HQ today. Pretty cool experience. Definitely wouldn't mind working here.
