Why, because he didn't say Mankato State?
I actually like Mankato State.

Mornin' folks. Sunny and blue skies!

Why, because he didn't say Mankato State?
I've told you this story before you ever discovered Tucker Max. Driving up and down the "strip", lighting cigarettes with a blow torch, getting the RV stuck in the sand 3 times before noon the first day down there...."Let my people go!" "You want to be next?" "No, sir, I'm done"
BTW...what TM story do you think I'm stealing from?
Only 2 kegs, you take a bunch of Nancies with you or something??3 friends and I rented one of those (not top of the line converted Greyhound...but pretty nice) and drove it from San Antonio to South Padre Island with 2 kegs for 4 days one Spring Break....crammed about 25-30 people on it at one point, almost got arrested twice and almost had our bullhorn taken away. We somehow got the deposit back.![]()
Yeah, I have seen quite a few of the school bus converted into party buses/mobile homes, as they're quite popular among the NASCAR crowd that we have to deal with 2 or 3 weekends out of the year. Kind of depends on the IRL running at MIS or not. Don't think they're there this year, and their fans tend to be a little more upper crust.Apparently doing this with a school bus is a thing. Pros are they're usually cheap to acquire, the chassis is tougher and rides higher than an RV, they're surprisingly wide, you can do whatever you feel like to the interior, and the diesel engines last forfreakinever if properly maintained. Cons are who knows what condition they're in when you acquire them, the roof is usually only 6 feet tall and pretty much requires a conversion, and they're kinda frowned upon at RV parks because they look ghetto (if they let you in, they'll try to herd you to a crappy spot out of sight of the 1%.)
They've gotten a lot cheaper thanks to $4 a gallon gas and the economy crapping the bed. A nice used fifth wheel with fold outs can be had for low/mid five figures. An RV probably low/mid six figures.
Eh, they weren't all that impressive, but they was out last night, a little north of me here in Clinton. Just some nice rolling thunder and rain from em.We had storms? Didn't hear a thing.
I need a refill. Rimbaud negrepped me for wishing him Happy B'day.![]()
32 gallons is a lot of beer for 4 people, when 1 is driving, I drank mostly whiskey, and we spent most of the days on the beach where the kegs can't go, and most of the night in a bar where the kegs can't go.Only 2 kegs, you take a bunch of Nancies with you or something??![]()

Covered.
There were no girls in bikinis at the RV park....So you spent even more on beer when you had perfectly good beer in the kegs. Christ. Typical UND kids![]()
More fail! ;PThere were no girls in bikinis at the RV park....
Ma Nature must be really POed at OK, they are just getting pummeled this spring. Another huge tornado on the ground near OKC.![]()
This looks quite a bit closer to where I was when I lived down there. If Uncle Ray is still down there, hope he stays safe.Ma Nature must be really POed at OK, they are just getting pummeled this spring. Another huge tornado on the ground near OKC.![]()
