Why, because he didn't say Mankato State?

I actually like Mankato State.:p I just can't believe someone would be so unknowledgeable like that. Especially when they played Miami in the first round. An in state team and a team that plus their women's team every year? How dumb do you have to be?

Mornin' folks. Sunny and blue skies!

I've told you this story before you ever discovered Tucker Max. Driving up and down the "strip", lighting cigarettes with a blow torch, getting the RV stuck in the sand 3 times before noon the first day down there...."Let my people go!" "You want to be next?" "No, sir, I'm done"

BTW...what TM story do you think I'm stealing from?

Mainly the one where they take the RV to New Jersey/New York and end up in the ghetto and get arrested, with the bullhorn part from the Duke story.

Hey Lodgers.

Baseball game was good last night. There were about 10 people there that I knew, all there seperately. Me and gf, Shirtless Guy and his wife, 2-3 guys I know from the gopher tailgates, and a group from the golf course back home there to see a hometown kid that was just called up by the Twins. We had perfect seats. Bar stools with a bar rail, in right field with a great view of the field. Right next to the craft beer stand, and we were in the row that was just under the overhang, so we didn't even get rained on.

Morning.

Twins win 4 in a row against the Brewers, and the Pirates take 3 in a row from the Tigers. Nice week of baseball all around.

It's finally a beautiful morning, the first in in many days. It's also the first time since my surgery that I had a chance to get out of the house with even semi decent weather. There's a lot of really green grass out there.

3 friends and I rented one of those (not top of the line converted Greyhound...but pretty nice) and drove it from San Antonio to South Padre Island with 2 kegs for 4 days one Spring Break....crammed about 25-30 people on it at one point, almost got arrested twice and almost had our bullhorn taken away. We somehow got the deposit back. :D
Only 2 kegs, you take a bunch of Nancies with you or something?? :p

Apparently doing this with a school bus is a thing. Pros are they're usually cheap to acquire, the chassis is tougher and rides higher than an RV, they're surprisingly wide, you can do whatever you feel like to the interior, and the diesel engines last forfreakinever if properly maintained. Cons are who knows what condition they're in when you acquire them, the roof is usually only 6 feet tall and pretty much requires a conversion, and they're kinda frowned upon at RV parks because they look ghetto (if they let you in, they'll try to herd you to a crappy spot out of sight of the 1%.)

They've gotten a lot cheaper thanks to $4 a gallon gas and the economy crapping the bed. A nice used fifth wheel with fold outs can be had for low/mid five figures. An RV probably low/mid six figures.
Yeah, I have seen quite a few of the school bus converted into party buses/mobile homes, as they're quite popular among the NASCAR crowd that we have to deal with 2 or 3 weekends out of the year. Kind of depends on the IRL running at MIS or not. Don't think they're there this year, and their fans tend to be a little more upper crust.

Usually its not the party buses that you'll see break down on their way in or out of MIS, its the older than the hills motorhomes.

We had storms? Didn't hear a thing.
Eh, they weren't all that impressive, but they was out last night, a little north of me here in Clinton. Just some nice rolling thunder and rain from em.

32 gallons is a lot of beer for 4 people, when 1 is driving, I drank mostly whiskey, and we spent most of the days on the beach where the kegs can't go, and most of the night in a bar where the kegs can't go.

Ma Nature must be really POed at OK, they are just getting pummeled this spring. Another huge tornado on the ground near OKC. :(

This looks quite a bit closer to where I was when I lived down there. If Uncle Ray is still down there, hope he stays safe.

Sirens in Moore. Haven't those people been through enough?

We've got a lot of red and yellow on the radar headed this way. Looks like it's going to hit about 1-2 AM here.

Now. Having said that, I'm comparing grapes to watermelons.
