Good Morning Lodge!
Snowmageddon never really materialized here. 4 inches and then rain by morning.

Your teenage self would have been surprised by the things that you now find exciting.

True. Sleep would be one of those things. Hockey would be another (growing up in Mary-land last century there wasn't a lot of exposure to hockey).

I bet the ability of bending to pick up something without thought is in there too :p

I ended up getting over 5" before it turned to rain. By the time I left this morning it was fine, but from what every one of my coworkers who went into the office said, the commute home was positively miserable. 2 hours from Watertown to Malden? No effing thanks. That's a 3+ hour drive for me then.

Yup- thecomicbook guy left his office at 2:30pm yesterday afternoon and got home to Manchester, NH at 5:15 (normally about 50 minutes). He was...less than pleasant. Took me 1:45 to get to the hospital (usually 45-50 minutes). It was mostly ice on my commute in. Roads were okay this morning on my way home.
The awesomeness of naps would be another.
Ugh -- this cannot be said enough.

Hello, peeps. Just trying to get through this shift.

Hang in there ewe!
Thanks, les. Grueling schedule through end of the month (off 2 starting tonight, then on 5, etc) , but I'm working very little in March, so I can't complain (off the 1st - 6th, then 6 in a row on, then 16 days off!!!!). (took 3 vacation days and bundled the rest of my shifts)

Evening, Lodge. Have the day off tomorrow, dunno what I'm gonna do with it. Might check out a French bistro that was recommended somewhat nearby. The menu looks awesome.

I’m off tomorrow too — off to Mille Lacs for some fishing with 6 long time friends — will be a fun and long weekend.

Very nice! I have to kill off about 5.5 weeks (just to carry over my max 40 hours) so trying to take random days off. I do have 2 full weeks scheduled, one is planned, one is "I dunno yet, but gonna do something." :D
