I made a significant commitment this morning, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly is on one of the Stars channels. Not a short film.

No, no it is not.
I should re-watch that someday. Heck, that, along with Das Boot and Red Cliff...that would be an easy 12 hour viewing experience!

Afternoon, Lodge.
Hung out at the corner store, and ended up talking with an ex-NYC cop/detective. Great stories, and the nuances to them (and nuances in behavior/speech) convinced me they were legit and he wasn't some blowhard. Absolutely fascinating. Yes, there were some mafia stories, of which I know a little about the subject ;) which really intrigued me.

Played 3 hours of blackjack. Bit of a Rollercoaster night, but got to walk out comfortably up. Feels good taking extra money out of Vegas.

Flying home tomorrow afternoon. Disappointing hockey, but fun time. Glad I got to show the old man around a bit.

Really great seeing a few USCHO techies (and Biddco) this weekend. Always enjoy when Tech comes to town.
