Yeah, things are doing good considering. My daughter is still having plenty of anxiety and the aftershocks aren’t helping, we had one last night in the 5.x range. Not much sleep due to daughter, my own anxiety and the aftershocks.

The TV station my father and brother work at (KTVA) had their station building take plenty of damage, my dad went in after the earthquake and I don’t know if he’s been home yet they’ve had that much work.

I’m at work though it’s slow because we have so many people out. Managers basically told corporate to **** off and the planes will get out when we can get them out but we aren’t rushing.

Glad the AKs are ok!

So, no snow....park in my garage, walk up 3 flights, look out window. ALL THE SNOW. It's blizzard-like. It's almost snowing sideways. I would hate to be on the roads tonight.

I had about 2-3 hours of sleep last night because of them. My poor daughter is so nervous about them. I get twinge of anxiety when one hits, I know a bit of how my mother feels now.

I guess I can't even imagine that. We get tornadoes, that's about it. No comparison to earth shaking, and we get forewarned.

The sight and sound of large steel beams shuddering and shaking will be in my mind forever. The sound especially, the loud thundering of a powerful earthquake is simultaneously thrilling and terrifying.

On the flip side, the day after a 7.0 earthquake... I went to a mall and ate pizza with my family.
