Mavs coming out the gate hot this year. I have been loving it until this weekend, can't end soon enough.

Morning, Lodge. Headed to the east side for a special beer release. Guessing there are already people waiting in line (10:30 is when the doors open). Yes, craft beer geeks are kind of nuts.

Good Morning Lodge!

Balancing my checkbook found out they double entered a check and then on the second entry they entered it for $1200+ . Random number, not even close to what the original check was for. This is why I balance my checkbook every month and don't let the bank do it for me. So I need to wait for them to credit me until this coming week. Better yet when I asked how I would be notified it was rectified they told me to check online probably Tuesday. Um, this isn't how it is supposed to work. You made the error. I need to write checks and until that money arrives in my account I can't cover what I need. :mad:

Got there at 7:30am, was about 40th in line. Ended up being a 3 block long line, so guarantee some people did not get bottles. 'Twas a fun time, knew quite a few people from past releases/beer geek world. Get to do this again in 2 weeks, and then a lesser line (if a line at all) the week after that. It's stout season, which is my favorite season.

For the non-beer people, it's like waiting for hockey season, and then it happens.
