Newest update on cousin drama - I called my aunt yesterday to let her know I’m thinking of her. This morning cousin C posts on Facebook for any of his friends and family to refrain from calling his mother for updates as she’s upset and it’s affecting her health and to reach out to him instead. Which I would do if I had his cell. Which I don’t.

He sounds like a tool. He is doing nothing to prevent people from calling, blaming those who don't call and then shaming them if they do. Sounds like a personal problem to me.

I’m taking it as a personal thing now. And I’m sorry, but if my dad wants to call his sister, he can. My mom told me to message him on Facebook again to ask for his cell. I know I should but I’m just getting aggravated now. And I know that I shouldn’t.

BS. This guy sounds like he is the type that constantly sends mixed messages making people twist to keep him happy. Bet he is like this all the time but usually people are in a position to blow him off. If the FB thing was a post~ If you are on top stories on FB you wouldn't see this post so don't 'see' it. If he messaged it then he should be able to provide updates via the same avenue- he is chosing not to so he is a richard cranium. DO what you want, don't take his thoughts into consideration. He clearly isn't playing by the rules the rest of you have.

Our (71st) annual amateur golf tournament is going on this weekend. Played pretty well today, what beautiful weather. One of the guys playing is from Texas and commented how amazing the weather is compared to back home — MN summers make the winters bearable!
