Crappy weather tonight. Started the day over 50 degrees out, and it's hovering just above freezing now. Add to that rain that is now sleet/snow, and up to 50 mph winds. I wouldn't want to be out on the roads right now. I hear up north is really bad, mostly visibility. Gonna get colder this week, too. Can't complain, November was too good to us for it being November.

Good morning Lodge.

Our winter storm warning missed the mark. The day started off at 45 degrees. It rained for a bit then the temps fell and we got a dusting of snow. 50 mph winds though. Currently 13 degrees but it feels like -10.

mookie's lows here are finally forecast to reach the mid-40s :D

highs are still in the 70s.

bangkok was so comfortable. can't believe mookie is getting cold with highs/lows of 70/40 :confused:

going back to new england is going to be the death of mookie :eek:

41 degrees here and the sky is ominous, but we'll likely get rain unless the temp drop is dramatic. Most importantly, we now have heat in our house. In case I haven't updated here, we turned on the heat in our new house a few weeks ago for the first time (we had a cold snap with temps in the teens) and our water heater temperature and pressure valve released some of the contents of the water heater into the basement. We had 2 different guys come out and check out the situation. Turns out we need a new heating and hvac system. The company we went with was cheaper, but was unavailable until the 20th of December. Fortunately, things in their schedule cleared and the items came in quickly and they've been here yesterday and today installing the stuff. It was so very nice to turn on the heat last night! (We could use our thermostat, but were advised to keep in around 60 to prevent further issues with the water heater)
