Got my third (!) shut out in a row tonight as the team clenched our division title in soccer. Did it against the best team in the league.

Good Morning Lodge!
Good afternoon mook!

It is the middle of October. I still have tomatoes in my garden, the forsythia has a few blooms, the leaves are still on some of the trees- green and it is 60F and humid. This is so confusing.

Go eat them!!

Mookie's not seen 60 here yet. High 40s but that's it

Happy Monday Lodge. Crowded train + humidity made for an uncomfortable commute. I was sweating so much I feel like I could take another shower. Catching up on emails as I was out on Friday to find out my main contact in one of our departments with whom I'm working on two huge conferences that are coming up quickly is literally out all week at some training. Which is fine as we all need to take these training classes. Except for the fact that he never told me. I'm completely flabbergasted that he wouldn't make one comment to me about it, like "When I'm out next week, work with this person if you have any questions". Unless it came up last minute, which would be very difficult. The three weeks leading up to my vacation I think I mentioned I would be out of the office in every meeting we had with the team. Oy. ANNOYED!!!

Well, that was a good hockey weekend. Win and tie for Tech, but better than that was some conference-mates doing some work, looking at you Mankato and Bemidji.

Greeting everyone!

My wife and I just adopted a puppy from the humane society. He's a hound mix that we named Oliver. I forgot how much work puppies require. So exhausted. Plus, 5 minutes of barking feels more like one hour. sigh.

Not me. I am going to bed. Good night nocturnal ones! Evening mook!

YAY!!!! Got my weekends covered for the Frozen Four in St.P; Memphis in May 2018; and my grandmother's burial in Arlington Cemetery (all fell on weekends that I was scheduled to work). :D :D :D

Too chilly for early morning rides?

Morning, Lodge. Awaiting a patient that was supposed to arrive around 11pm. This rarely bodes well.

Today was too chilly. :D I will go out again later.
