92% totality in Denver occurred at 11:47 AM.

Looked like a very subdued version of daytime, like wearing sunglasses.

We had around 80% here in Tampa, could notice some "dimming" of the sunlight, some slight decrease in light.

Have seen lots of pictures of the ground around here (and I'd assume similar elsewhere) where you can see crescent shapes patterned about.

God willing, 8/12/45 will bring totality to the Tampa area. I may also venture to NY in 7 years if I'm not working, as my hometown is in or very near totality for that one.

My co workers were mostly disappointed with the eclipse as well. Light dimming oh so slightly was all we got.

Sounds amazing though...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #192: What DO you do, with a BA in English?

I could see the eclipse quite clearly (about 80% of total), but I didn't notice any dimming.

At the airport to fly back to my floating penthouse for the next 30 days. A whole lot of nothing happened the past month, but that's alright.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #192: What DO you do, with a BA in English?

Never noticed it at all while in the air. Maybe the timing was off?

kinda like that at 84% in DC... i was looking at some animation and it implied that it only really gets dark at 95%... coworker likened it like 7PM where we are.

I have no idea why I routinely think it's such a good idea to start cooking at 11 PM. Burgers and homemade salsa got made tonight. We'll see how the salsa turned out. I don't think I got it thick enough.

Morning, Ralph!
Morning, Lodgers.

Up all night at home while the hubs sleeps = stealth unpacking. Have also made bread and am working on catching up on Bones. :) 3 more in a row (work nights) tomorrow (worked all weekend and have this fluke night off)

over the hump. 2 more days until the weekend.

looks like mookie is getting an extra holiday at the end of the month. the moon rise won't be until the next day or something and all holidays are based on the lunar cycle/month. so that's nice :)

Good morning, Mark!
Good morning, Ralph!

Good morning, Lodge.
Starting to feel very vampire-y -- 1 whole week of awake at night, sleep all day. :o
