I've never been to Memphis but I really enjoyed Nashville. You should see if the Preds will be in the playoffs while there and go see old friend Colin Wilson!

les - not going to go to the Garden?

Morning

Both Memphis and Nashville have things to do and eat! So I don't think you can go wrong.

Wave if you pass through the Raleigh area. :)

I would vote for Nashville, for 2 reasons. First, I've never been to Memphis, so have no personal knowledge of it, second, you're going to be driving a bunch, and only going as far as Nashville might be a welcomed break. Plus, if you're in Nashville 2 nights, there's a better chance you can see a Preds game.

s'upp y'all

right now mookie is planning on heading south good friday (14th) and not having to return until the 22nd/23rd. joe wants to stop in NoVa and see robert e lee's something or other. not sure then whether we want to head to SC shore and stay on the beach for a night or 2. then atlanta for a game (and a night). then to either/or nashville & memphis for a couple nights (that's what now? 6 nights and on the road on the 20th?). so have some wiggle room to see larry joe's hometown or head straight to mookie's mom's house for a night.
would like to catch a preds game if possible. tough to nail down playoff schedules though.

I loved Memphis. It was 20 years ago that I was there. Blues on Beale Street, ribs at Rendezvous, tour of Graceland, the riverwalk on Mud Island.

I need to figure out what's going on with the water in my home. It's all tasting very salty, like the water softener is putting in too much salt or not removing it during the softening process. Drinking the water started to taste a little funny a couple days ago, and yesterday it became downright awful. I can't imagine the salt used in water softeners is good to ingest at such high quantities.

Dolphins drink salt water all the time. You'll be fine.

It's the type of salt though; this isn't NaCl salt, softeners use a lot of K and Ph. Mine is the Rust Remover variety, too. While those aren't inherently bad for you on their own, taking in so much of it isn't normal and there are generally warnings about it.
